Yeah, that's why I was thinking about the 10mm. There's some reports that the 10mm FCU will use a 45acp FCU, but the 10mm is a lot longer than the 45acp, so I'm curious too to see if the ejector will be even shorter. If it is, do you think it'll still work with 9mm? Because like you mentioned the 45acp FCU does work with 9mm.
I have a 9mm FCU and am considering trimming the ejector. The takedown lever is not an issue since that part is replaceable, but I'm a little bit hesitant about trimming the ejector since that's not a replaceable part, since it's part of the actual FCU.
Actually SAAMI spec:
45 ACP 1.275
10mm 1.250

There are people on this forum who have had success using their 9mm FCU in 45 after removing the tab of course.

Oh, so it's much more likely that a 9mm FCU work with 10mm than 45 if I don't want to file down the ejector? I'm tempted to try my 9mm FCU with 45 with just the 45 takedown lever, without trimming down the ejector.

Its possible but like I said there are people on thi forum who have used their 9mm fcu to shoot 45 so it may be fine for both

Can anyone share what is required to get the Custom Works FCU to properly function in an XTen grip and slide assembly?

I would much prefer a complete XTen, but until the pending lawsuits here in CA run their course, I need other ways, else pay a high premium for a preowned XTen.
Thanks.

Hopefully an AXG option. I wonder if Icarus Precision has something in the works?
I emailed Icarus to ask that question. The reply was that once Sig officially confirms the XTen and 45 grip modules are compatible with one another, they will make one.

Do you have a link to this discussion? I also want to convert my 9MM FCU into a 10MM FCU to shoot 10MM. Alex at ABPrototype.com sells a 10MM Conversion Kit (Slide Catch Lever + Takedown Safety Lever). He says all I have to do is replace these parts in my 9MM FCU. He says trimming the ejector in my 9MM FCU is not needed. They test fire 10MM after this conversion and have NO issues. I hope he is right and giving me the facts...

He is correct.
There are a few threads on here about it as well
