I just recently went through similar process, except I had to use the adapter plate because it worked out better with suppressor height sights. Instead of screws that came with EPS carry, I obtained M3 -0.5x10mm class 12.9 screws, used blue loctite and torqued to 12 in-lbs (some say this is BS, but I remember some rule about lower dry torque by 20% when tightening with thread locker). The class 12.9 screws are probably overkill, but last thing I want is to deal with broken screws.

Anyhow, shot 100 rounds this weekend and everything remained snug.
Agree with your torque, my FN only requires 6-8 in lbs per manual.

I am contemplating adding the eps carry to my p365 as I also just got the wilson tuned one that I think I am gonna keep optic free for the time being. I did notice this website sells the screws that are in question in the post to use without the plate. on a different note wondering how people like the eps carry model on the p365 standard size

I had the 407K and then the 507K. I purchased the EPS Carry MRS when it came out. It's a great optic. It's crisp and clear. The 407K and 507K are great optics but I like the EPS better.

Yep! I ran the EPS carry on my 365X when I had it, liked the closed emitter design a lot.

What's worked well for me on P365XL for the EPS Carry (direct-mounted to slide): M3-0.5 10 mm T10 flat head screws, Permatex Blue and an extended T10 bit. The extended bit is important so that the shoulder of the bit coupler doesn't cause an offset when it hits the sight as you apply the torque. At the recommended 15 in-lbs I've not had any issues with the sight coming loose after ~1,000 rounds.

And it nicely co-witnesses at the very bottom of the sight (i.e., out of the way unless you really need it) with the stock XRAY3 front sight.

My only problem mounting the H EPS Carry directly to the 365X slide (no plate) was that my Fix IT Sticks torque wrench was too thick to get it directly over the screw for final tightening. I didn’t have a longer bit to clear the EPS housing so I tightened until I got resistance and then gave it a 1/8 turn more. Haven’t shot it yet but this should work until I get a longer bit. I like it with no plate and of course you can adjust elevation on the optic to suit your sight view.

Went to the range today and shot with the new Holosun EPS Carry, a new True Precision Barrel, a new Wilson Combat grip module, new P365X slide, and the entire action was tuned by the Sig Armorer. While there is a lot of “new” to still discover, once I got the optic sighted in, securing the Holosun with no plate seems to work just fine.
