Willard. thanks. You may recall I was looking at some LOGO G10s that went for $152 on Ebay just the other day. There is now an identical set for sale on it but for $175. I think I may just get a set of Contour Classics from Hogue.

This is for the P226 E2 Grips over the standard 2 piece grips..

The Sig branded do normally go for more, due to you paying for the branding. The 2nd pair of P229 grips I got from Sig of the Gray/Black G-10s were like $149 a couple of years ago when I picked up my CPO P229 ESE, and had to sign up for notification (Note: Sometimes I think that is how they gauge to have another lot made.). I'm considering the Contour Classics as a replacement, since they don't feel as 'blocky" for lack of a better description, but I do feel like I have better control.

I replaced my Short Reach Trigger (on a P226 SSE 40) with the standard trigger (it was tucked into a corner of the blue case) and it was a huge improvement in the trigger pull for me. The Short Reach Trigger stung me quite often but that might just have been the 40 S&W talking.

They do appear to be the "SIG Sauer P228 P229 Piranha Grip G10 - Solid Black, SKU: 28139," based on pictures from the Hogue website at this link:

Hogue also made them for Sig, with the Sig Sauer labeling, as shown below, SKU: 28139-7SIG:

I like those. I wish I’d have gotten them instead. Are they located on Hogues website?

I just ordered grips from Hogue. Mascus Black G10s with inveres checkering. Since I wanted the name Sig Sauer on the impossible to get grips, I will likely get some SIG medallions off of Ebay and install them on the new grips. Bblr did the same a few years ago and theyBelow is the stock image from the Hogue site.

Willard, are the Contour Classic grips (G10 30127) better for smaller hands? I can't find any around to try, I current have the older Hogue G10 28137. I have them on a M11A1. Used the E2, grew to dislike them, became loose quickly.

Another option, especially if you're already considering a trigger change, is the Gray Guns dual adjustable trigger. It will remove the pre travel in DA, effectively shortening the reach to the trigger. Two added bonuses are, it doesn't have the trigger bite that many experience with the short trigger, and you can shorten the reset with the over travel adjustment. Just another option.

They seem that way to me... Here are a series of photos showing the slight, and hardly noticeable difference between the OEM Sig G-10s, the Contour Classic G-10s, and E2s for reference... 1st photo pistol centered in my hand, 2nd photo finger position with Trigger Extended, 3rd photo with Trigger take-up removed. While hard to notice the difference, at least to me, they feel just a little better than the earlier G-10s. While not as small as the E2s, for me they are manageable.

While you are correct, the newer Armory Craft Dual Adjustable Short Reach Trigger, gives even more advantage to those with smaller hands...

Indeed. Never having tried one, I wouldn't be able to recommend those. I have several of the GG version. Also after how much I hated the short trigger on a 229, I'd personally be leary of a thin version like that. But it's great to have options.
