Just find a TRUE branded barrel for your P365 9mm and drop it in!

You would need a longer slide to accommodate the longer barrel. The P365 is 3.1, the P365XL is 3.7. If you’re going to add length the bbl, you might as will use a XL grip module.
Just save yourself some time and money and buy a XL.

I put a 3.7" barrel in an X slide, and everything works so far. I haven't shot it, but assembly, racking, disassembly, everything works. It looks a little silly, with the extra barrel poking out of the slide, but it's not too bad.

No different than adding a threaded barrel. It shouldn't be a problem.

I bought the barrel from the classifieds here, if I remember correctly. Or maybe ebay, or gunbroker, so I can't help with part numbers..

What I am trying to do is have the loner barrel and reg grip... kind of like the DW officers frame 45 Vigil

After reading your post a few times, I couldn't stand it any more. I grabbed a mag loaded with 147 +P and went out back. 12 for 12. No problems at all. It's alive!

Buy a complete XL slide assembly (slide, barrel, and RSA). You can usually find one here in Marketplace, ebay, or GunBroker for about $280-$325.
