I picked up a used SP2340 with the .40 and 357 Sig barrels in good shape and took it to the range yesterday for the first time.
This was my first DA/SA non-striker pistol (other than my revolvers) and I was very pleased with the experience.
I like the .40 round and have several pistols in that caliber.
Recoil was very manageable and the transition to the DA on the first round was easier than I thought it would be.
The trigger, it’s a Sig, so what else can you say there? It’s great.
Accuracy was very good, 2 1/2” - 3” group head shots on a standard silhouette target at 25 yards. It definitely made me look better than I am.
How many SP2340 users are out there and what’s your opinion on them?
