Added silver controls to mine and the XL size Wilson grip carries better.

 

Question for the original poster. What makes your's an Xmacro? Is it because of the 17rd grip? Sorry, I just always looked at the Xmacro being the one w/built-in slide comp.

EDIT... I looked at SIG's website and got myself corrected.

 

The XMacro comes in a few versions. Some of those (TacOps, Manual Safety, and I think there's just a base version) don't have the short barrel / comped slide. I believe that version is now called the XMacro Comp.

 

Dutch.... I'm tracking all and have my share of SIG pistols. My very own original P365 uses an XL grip, so I'm good with the "interchangeability" part. And if you read my response, you'd see that I went to the SIG site to see where I confused and got myself corrected because when I purchased my Xmacro with the build in comp... it was called just that, an "XMacro".

Lastly, I'll share something that I've posted on here before and also I'd like to give some advice for the P365 and P320 owners. If you look at the pic, you'll see my P320 Subcompact that uses a chopped down 17rd Xseries grip next to a first gen XCarry. I did that mod back in 2018... which was LONG before SIG launched their Xcompact. And I'm sure everyone knows that an Xcompact slide is just an optics ready subcompact slide.

Now the advice... don't limit yourself and feel free to try things to see what works. An example, the second mag for my P365 Plus (i call it that because of the base slide on the XL grip) uses a +4 mag extension from Taylorfreelance. Not a big deal right? Yes it is because they don't make that for a P365. I use one from a P320 and there is zero waffle between the mag ledge and the slots the slide in. Anyone interested, let me know and I'll post some pics.
