X6 Supermatch with X-weight

I shot my trusty X6 Supermatch with the X-Mount weight I got recently for the first time today.

Weighing 9.7oz, it brings the overall weight of the gun to over 67oz when fully loaded. It attaches to the rails via a single hex screw on the bottom. It loosened up a bit over 200 rounds today, so I Loctited it when I got home.

Impressions are positive. The gun is already heavy, but the extra weight keeps muzzle rise down even more. The sights barely move off target at all, and I felt like I was shooting faster because of it.

I don't think many others in the US have one of these weights yet, which is a shame, because I think it's a great upgrade. It doesn't hurt that it really helps emphasize the spaceship looks of the new X-line.

So awesome! I bet it handles almost like 22lr! ;)

I want the weight system so badly but it seems ordering from Germany is becoming increasingly difficult. Already have 2 separate orders held up for various reasons.

Triebel Shop, Germany. Unfortunately, because it costs over $100 (it was about $250 I think), it must be brought over on an ATF import form and go through a bunch of import/export hoops and wait times.

Hopefully Sig starts making them in the US once they're all set up here.

And while a dark gray or black Cerakote would definitely look cool, I don't think there are many X6 Supermatches that made it over before the German export ban on Sig and I'd hate to ruin a future collectible.

We have one on Gunbroker right now.
The auction started at $1, with no reserve.

However, judging based on recent hammer prices, this one will also go for more than double what they used to sell for about year or so ago:

Same goes for the X-Mount:
