A P320 FCU with a manual safety is relatively rare.

You could sell your FCU easily and simply replace it with a safety-less version.



I would buy your FCU for a P320 build if you were in California....

 

Some have a loose pin, that fills the void of the MD assembly. There are a few threads on this here. Put a dab of grease on the pin, and it will keep it from drifting out.

 

The safety lever pin that replaces the MS is held in by the grip module. You will need a G M with out the MS cut

 

Great looking M18, btw which is that frame from WC, is it the carry II which is standard length 17 round grip but shorter compact slide length?

 

That’s actually a M17 FCU minus the safety with a slide and barrel assembly chambered in .357 Sig. You are correct, that’s the Carry ll grip module. 14 round flush fit mags and I have 2-18 rounders that look like the 21’s in 9.

 

BTW, that thing is an absolute joy to shoot. Just had it and the 229 Elite 357 Sig at the range Saturday. The guys to my right kept looking on the floor at my brass asking, what the hell is that. LOL.

With all credit to Sig Guy's YouTube video, it was quite simple removing the MS on my M17.

I relied on his videos for swapping triggers on both the P320 and the P365.

 

Thank you for all of the replies fellows. I am thinking of taking the manual safety off of one of my M18's that I am going to carry and keep the other one with it. I have the fde version and I found a black M18 that I am eyeing at the moment. I just might buy another fde one though as that color just appeals to me right now. I have a WC grip module coming for this fde gun that is cut for the manual safety so this one will stay that way I think.

 

I’m quite fond of the dessert tan look as well.

I ditched the safeties on my m17 and 2 m18s. Its just not the same as a 1911 which i was used to.
Like my p320s better without the safety

 

I bought a several of them used for like $8/each.

I did it on my m17 and have no regrets. Install was quick and easy.

 

I've done that. Used the factory pin referenced above. No issues.

 

M18 without safety and AXG grip. Removing the safety was very easy.
