I use Bullard Leather for my 1911s and Tulster for everything else.

 

Mitch Rosen for leather OWB because they are high quality and are great for my Sigs.

Blackpoint Tactical mini-wing for IWB. I can easily adjust the cant depending on what I am wearing and which position I want to carry it in.

 

Blackpoint Tactical has made two "custom" holsters for me for two different pistols with rail mounted lights/lasers. They both fit great! Highly recommended.

The Mitch Rosen Legion OWB model is well made, comfortable, and readily available. It doesn't conceal nearly as well as the R Grizzle since it doesn't pull the top rear of the slide in close to the body.

The SuperTuck is by far the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever used. It's not as "nice" as my VM-2s, but it's also readily available and less expensive.

I don't know how long it was released, but it's the first hybrid I recall seeing.

It seems that the leather is now thicker than it used to be, so the break-in period is considerably longer. I gave up on waiting for my last one to form to my shape, and wet molded it to my body. This isn't a problem, and once it's molded it should last an extremely long time. I'm still using my oldest one regularly that I bought in 2009, and its horsehide is quite thin.

The shells for the P229 seem to now all be formed for suppressor height sights, so that eliminates the close fit along the top of the slide. This can allow the pistol to slightly rotate counter clockwise within the shell when drawn, which initiates extra retention at the trigger guard....making removal difficult (if it's not pulled straight up). I'm still adjusting the trigger guard retension indentation to eliminate the issue. This might not affect all users, depending on how far to the rear the pistol is carried, but it sure affects me. I've got 5 older SuperTucks molded for standard sights for other pistols, and none of them exhibit this issue.

I like tenicor iwb for p365. They released the newer model that fits with manual safety. I carry it in my strong side and I don’t even feel I carry it except in the driver seat while driving.

With me not having a lot of experience in holsters, my favorite is a Wright Leather Works for my Sig p225a1. It works well and is very comfortable. When I carry AIWB I use Vedder, again it works well and conceals nicely.

 

I really like Garrett Holsters because they are minimalist made of Kydex outside and soft leather inside to protect the finish. The best of both worlds. They are good people too. Great customer service and military discounts.

 

The Bianchi Professional 100 is a versatile IWB holster that I use for everything that I carry. Size 11 fits all the classic SIGs and Size 14 fits all of my 1911s.

I never knew how deadly holsters are until I started paying attention to the P320 "discharge" threads. Now I strive to choose a holster that won't shoot me. Seriously, I still carry revolvers so you know right off the bat that nothing I have to say is of value.

IWB is my primary set up. I always choose a holster that I can move around IWB for comfort while seated. Something that can slide a few inches makes a big difference when you're being poked by something sharp.

My OWB holsters range from carved and tooled leather BBQ holsters to the dreaded and presumed deadly SERPA retention holsters.

I've come to accept that holsters are something intensely personal. What works for me may not be something another person could live with. I have a lot of discards that for one reason or another wasn't just right for me. They probably looked good or were highly recommended but just didn't pan out. A year from now I may find that this discarded holster works for a different pistol.

The only time I buy a BRAND NEW holster is when I've tried it with a used eBay holster at less than half the cost of a BRAND NEW mistake. That's a tip you can take to the bank. Buying holsters is expensive and you can expect to make some mistakes. The Bianchi Professional 100 is the most versatile holster that I can recommend for IWB carry.

Huge fan of all things Tenicor. I currently use a Velo4 and a Sagax Lux2 (both for P365 variants). Incredibly well thought out and designed gear. Like most of us, I’ve tried a thousand different holsters over the years and Tenicor is the brand that’s won me over.

I’ll second the DCC clips as well. While they may seem harder to get on and off at first it becomes second nature after awhile and those clips will not break or pop off your belt. Even in a hands on situation.

 

I've bought a number of Kydex holsters for my handguns over the years. They now occupy a box on the top shelf of my walk-in closet. They're just not comfortable for me. I'm only using leather holsters now. DeSantis and Falco, but I recently bought a couple of leather holsters at a price I couldn't pass up on Amazon for $23 each. 'Blackhawk' brand, says made in Italy.

Edit: Even though this holster's fitment says S&W M&P and Ruger's "S" series, SR & Security 9, It fits my Sig P322 perfectly. I mean for $23, I bought 2 of these and I'm glad I did!

 

tulter profile plus with sidekick for p365, and pocket locker by vender that now has adjustable retention and I added the the thumbs extension and curve bottom ! but holster and comfort is truly personal opinion this works for me

What model and why...

I have Alien Gear Tuck holsters for my P220 \ 226 \229, and Shape Shifter for my P938.

I still have and love my Alien gear holsters, used them all the time. However, the don't have optic cuts. If not running red dots, they are good.

 

I'm an Alien Gear fan as well.
I took a Dremel tool to my 226 holster to make a cut for the Romeo dot, works fine...

Also, I spoke to a representative from AG about the lack of optic ready holster, when I told him what I had done, I said I guess this voids the warranty.

His reply No it does not....

 

Another vote for R Grizzle Town & Country for leather. For kydex I prefer ANR Design.

 

Mitch Rosen Express line works for me.
