I didn't buy mine as an investment. I think it is a beautiful example of the P226. I hope SIG USA comes out with a similar P220.

I didn't either. Just thought it was a beautiful piece of machinery, same as you. However, this is still my favorite P226...

I'm impressed by your collection of leather-bound books, but they should be displayed on a table made of rich mahogany.

Actually they are in enclosed barrister bookcases. With over 80 some odd books, I don't think I could find a mahogany table large enough to hold them all. But the bookcases are mahogany.

However many they produce, it's still one heck of a firearm. I could care whether it becomes "collectible" or not. What I do care about is how it shoots, and it shoots just fine (even of it is "just" a 4.4 inch barrel).
