My 320 has been reliable. More so than my former G19. Only a single FTE early on but the Sig hasn’t had a single hiccup. Neither were/are high round count or anything. You won’t see me saying Glock is unreliable. I don’t know what it is but I’ve honestly never really cared for Honest Outlaw. I watch him but I never took any advice or opinions from him seriously. And any “top 10” anything is opinion driven clickbait that mean’s literally nothing but a means of entertainment.

I've owned a handful of P320s, different models, different sizes. I can't recall ever having a malfunction of any kind, with any of them.

I generally like HO, but for whatever reason, P320s are clearly not his jam.

I've seen quite a few of his vids and generally enjoy them. I've seen some of his earlier vids with the 320. Honestly (no pun intended), I don't understand why he has so many issues. My 320 is from 2014. The FCU has seen almost 1000 rounds dressed as a Compact, Compact RX, XCompact, Subcompact, and Full (yes I have exchange kits). I've swapped slide lock levers and triggers. While on watch, it lives as a Compact RX with XCompact grip, but come range time, it could morph into just about anything else. It just runs.

If anybody is worried about what HO says watch the 2 vidoes of the Sig p320 torture tested. One by Gerand Thumb and the other by Texas Plinking that flat out abused the gun in dirt, sand and mud.

I'm not sure why HO seems to have so many issues but that's him. And we, have to take anything said by a YouTube personality with a grain of salt.

He has praised some Sig products and he showed several malfunctions with a few P320’s in the video so I don’t think he’s biased against Sig. Our opinions are based on our experiences and he’s just had bad luck or was running new/tight guns that needed some breaking in first. I’ve never had malfunctions in mine and most people find them reliable, but he didn’t.

He doesn’t shoot it well because of the high bore axis and probably because of the sight alignment SIG guns come with from the factory.
Sig sights explained

If he’s trying to shoot a P320 and looking at the sights the same as he would a factory Glock, then that explains why he can’t shoot a P320.

Not reading 3 pages But I'm going to guess he's basing it on the lawsuits

This guy is weird. Sometimes I love his videos other times I just don’t get it. He loves super high-end stuff like custom Atlas 2011’s but then also seems to love trailer trash Turkish garbage like Canik. His longstanding hate for Sig casts a shadow of a doubt in all his opinions in my book, and he often seems unprepared to makes his videos (doesn’t know basic facts about the guns he’s reviewing). He puts a ton of content out there and is undeniably a great shot with a pistol but I can’t help but not fully buy in to his opinions.
Just one small comment. If you get a chance, rent or borrow a Canik Rival or Rival-S and shoot it. I think you'll see that they're a lot better firearm than you give them credit for.

I used to think how you think about Caniks. I refused to even consider them. I finally broke down and made the decision to buy a Rival just to see what all the hoopla was about. I figured I'd just sell it if it was junk, but I found out differently. They do really build a great gun and offer a tremendous amount for the money. I'm not saying that I'm giving up on my Sigs or CZs, but Canik did surprise me. They do build a quality firearm at a great price.

As far as his comments on the P320, I was surprised. I know there have been problems with the P320 but I don't agree with him on it. From everything I've seen Sig has taken care of the initial problems and the 320 is a pretty good firearm, not the best, but pretty good. The sales figures back that up.

I like Honest Outlaw and his videos alot, he's a straight shooter. But his videos are based solely on his experience with 1 or 2 handguns so I wouldn't rely on him for deciding what's reliable or not.
How many does he need to test to get a feel for how they are? Probably thousands sold and the one or two I shoot just happen to be bad? Those odds aren't very likely. I would lose faith too.

Top/bottom ten lists are all about clicks and comments, which ultimately drive revenue.

It really doesn't matter if you love him or hate him, agree or disagree as long as you click/comment/subscribe.

I have never been a fan of his, much as he has rarely been a fan of SIG's.

Controversy sells and drives revenue...

Even his name is insipid, Honest Outlaw...

I completely agree, I think he states in the video that he had reliability issues with 6 or 7 different P320's. I also believe there are videos of these various guns that show the malfunctions. He's also not what I would call a SIG hater as he loves the P226 and the P365 models. He's had a seriously bad run with the P320 that is well documented in his videos and that's exactly what he claims in this video.

I don't know if any of you watch the Honest Outlaw on YouTube but he gives some of the best and probably most honest reviews out there. If he loves it he'll tell you and if he hates it he'll also tell you.

Recently he came out with a video in which he tells what he thinks are the 10 most unreliable firearms, and it caught me by surprise but he put the Sig P320 as #9 on the list. The list goes from 10-1 with 10 being the best firearm on the list of unreliable firearms and 1 being the worst of the unreliable firearms. So at least the P320 wasn't the worst, but still.

He bases his assessment on test reviews that he is done himself and also other information available elsewhere on the internet. Obviously he's going to **** off a lot of Sig P320 fans, but like I said, he tells it like he sees it. He doesn't hold back and he also doesn't suck up to manufacturers by giving them a good review if they don't earn it. So read 'em and weep.

I feel just the opposite- I don't feel he's a credible, honest reviewer, because he's biased against Sig poly striker pistols- he admits he can't shoot them well. Another example is that his first review of the p365 was negative despite him having no problems with the pistol while he tested it. He basically said that because other YT channels like MAC had a few alleged issues- that he didn't think it was a good choice. That's not objective at all.

I've owned dozens of Sig's over the years and the only one that had to go back to the factory was my original P65 where the striker broke. Sig replaced it and I never had any other issues with that gun.
