Are the non-Sig marked magazines available anywhere? I remember getting them from Greg Cote for ridiculously low prices.

No the non-descript unmarked Magazines you speak of are probably like these, I picked up from CDNN Investments a few years ago.

At the same time CDNN also had P228 13 round Magazines for the same basically low prices... I believe these were all likely remnants of a contract, and a one time deal. These were from probably close to 10 or 15 years ago... when I used to get Shotgun News, and before I got into the internet, and Sig Talk.

Edited photo to show "Made in Italy" marked front as well...

Most of the early Mec-Gar P226 Magazines I have from the "Pre-Ban" era, are blued steel and of the Sauer & Sohn pattern.

I would imagine these as I have shown above in Post #3 are post Ban (2004) manufacture, as they changed their design during the period of the Ban, where full capacity Magazines would have been "Restricted" and marked as such.

The other possible source of those shown in Post #3 above may have been for global sales, everywhere but the US due to the Capacity Ban, and restrictive markings, but were made available for importation post 09/14/2004 after the end of the "Ban".
