You want a consistent trigger pull or something light? Then striker fired. Unmodified, they are naturally susceptible to more creep though from my experience.
You want less recoil, a better feeling trigger? Then it's DA/SA. It's not that hard to master the first shot DA then the transition to the lighter SA pulls. Any quick mods can bring you down to around 5-6# DA and then sub 2# SA pulls. IPSC production rules need the first DA shot to be at least 5# pull. You're already going to be forced to pull a 5# shot for your first pull, why not have all succeeding pulls way lighter?
But there's a reason that 226 LDC is priced higher than the 320. And there's also a reason why the real P226 X5 is priced higher than even the LDC.
If you ask me what would I pick, I'll take the LDC every day of the week, twice on Sundays. That's a full stainless steel gun that's built to take out the likes of CZ Shadows and Tanfoglio Stocks, all the creme of the crop. In my mind a 320, albeit even if it was given the X5 nomenclature, is still a striker fired polymer framed gun that competes against a Glock 34 in competition that only gained popularity due to the strong marketing push. It's a great gun, but you already have a better and more suited one in my, and probably most people's eyes.
