what i've done is to purchase the new generation p210 magazine. I then changed out the p210 floor plate for a Sig p225/Sig p6 magazine floor plate. You will have to file just a hair of the rear of the plate to make it work with the heel release....this has worked well for me for quite a few years now.

Isn't this -5 interesting? It has a heavy frame. But, it has a short 120mm barrel and a slide equipped with fixed sights. I don't believe I've ever seen a -5 configured like this.

Based on Michael Zeleny's information, this -5 would have been manufactured somewhere between 1987 and 1990. I need to review my copy of Vetter to see if I can find a -5 configured like this one.

Here is my -5. It has also has a heavy frame, but it has a 150mm barrel along with adjustable sights. Oh, it came in a plastic SIG plastic hard case, not a SIG blue cardboard box.

 

I haven’t seen any other -5 configured like the one I have either, and this -5 is more similar to the -6 I picked up recently, other than the heavy frame on the -5. I’ve searched the net for more info and haven’t found any info to date.

Note that the first 210-6 photographed is a NIB Specimen.

 

Check with Simpson Ltd Collectors Firearms in Galesburg Il for P210 magazines with the European mount profile. He deals in P210 surplus pistols and often has extra magazines. They may not be listed on his website, but he has drawers of accessories in the back...

 

I have seen a few 210-5 with std barrel here in Switzerland, including some for sale.

I remember reading somewhere that SIG had some surplus 210-5 marked slides but no more long barrels (150 & 180 mm), so they built them like 210-6 with normal 120 mm barrels.
