Getting the 9 or 45 is your call, 9 will be quieter on 9mm but the 45 will be more versatile. I say get both they’re one of the best pistol cans out there. I have an obsidian 9 and dead air wolfman in jail right now, the wolfman will be dedicated to my MPX K.

If you direct thread you’ll need to remove the booster assembly and install a solid spacer. 3 lug is the best way to go as they won’t work loose but come with additional cost. You can either install a 3 lug adapter or get a new barrel from in lead we trust with an integrated 3 lug. I actually emailed them a few minutes ago about getting a 3 lug barrel. It’s expensive but the absolute best way to go.

And you can use the 9 on anything with a threaded barrel that shoots 9mm or smaller pistol calibers. Rugged might spec it for subsonic 300BO but I’d have to look.

 

Agree 100%! I have an Obsidian 9 and use it on my Scorpion with a 3 lug and on my P226 with direct thread " piston". It's a great suppressor!
