Davidson’s takes upgrading the LCP Max a couple of steps further by adding a red anodized aluminum trigger, which greatly increases shooter accuracy and feel in this micro platform.
NRA Women recently posted “5 Ways the Ruger LCP Max Fixes Pocket Pistol Problems,” which outlines upgrades to the most recent version of Ruger’s wildly popular LCP.

I had an LCP Max (standard model, not the Davidsons Elite) for about a week and sold it immediately after first range trip. Just couldn’t get use to the toylike “ping” on trigger pull. Also, was snappy with my usual Underwood+P 380 carry loads. On the other hand, I love my Glock 42 and Sig P-365-380. IMHO when it comes to 380 carry these are the ticket.

Never cared for the LCP’s. I got my daughter her first CC weapon which was a Ruger LC - a bit bigger and easier to shoot. Also locked breach. The Glock 42 came out about the same time but you couldn’t find one anywhere.
