Can anyone give me a recommendation for a leather lined Kydex holster to carry my Sig P365?

I am looking for inside the waistband holster that is very thin and not bulky.

Thanks

I tried one of the Garrett holsters and it was very bulky. I’m not sure if there’s another model that is thinner but the one I tried was very thick and hard to conceal.
Did you look at the Silent Thunder STX Champion? I carry my M11-A1 in one of these when not at work. Paired with a good belt, it tucks in close. I usually run around in a pair of cargo shorts and a t-shirt and it conceals very well. The holster is very slim and doesn't add much to the width of the setup as a whole.

The is also the STX 2.0, which is basically the same thing, but due to the attachment point on one side being on the front, it should in theory, ride even closer to the body.

The only issue I see is that they don't have the P365 in their list of pistols. However, considering how many folks are carrying them now, I would think they'd have that covered.

Another vote for Garrett holsters.

I like the leather lining because a) it's quieter than bare kydex b) I think it is gentler on the finish and c) I like the looks.

No scientific proof on B but it is significantly quieter to draw and reholster your weapon. May not be a big deal to some but I don't always want to announce I've drawn my weapon.

Garrett Industries x 1000. I have for my Legion P229 RX and an IWB and OWB on order for my X-Compact w/DPP. I don’t find them bulky at all, but then I dress to conceal with sized up pants and a solid gunbelt.

If you want thin, get the Kusiak IWB Signature. Have one for my P365 and it’s like just having an extra coat of cerakote on the outside of your gun. Awesome secure clip as well.

I Hate the stiffness of a kydex body against my skin so garret or any other brand of kydex body is not this hardworking mans idea of comfortable carry . But then I only have 32 years of iwb carry .

You want leather inside and then buy a reinforced leather rig ?? Buy a Milton Sparks Summer Speical OR a Nelson Classic - James will make you a find holster , But leather wears on handguns too .

A leather lined kydex holster of good quality is going to be bulky and expensive.
What's your reason for such a holster? Respect personal preference of course.

Is it wear against the slide?
It was/is for me with all holsters which is why I make my own.

I use .080 kydex and allow a noticeable gap all the way around the slide so that it never touches any part of the slide even when inserting/removing the firearm as it clamshells around it which pushes the kydex away while it's transitioning direction. I've laid on my side many... many times (it's my EDC) for well over a year and there's not a mark on it.

I also installed a 1/8" thick piece of leather on the side that presses against me for comfort.
I can and do wear it all day, everyday as it's that comfortable.

Another plus is I have maybe $20 into it.

Try making them yourself, all that's needed is a heat gun, the materials, some patience, and to be willing to make a mistake or two when you first start out.
After you get it down though, you'll probably never buy another holster again.

I've added another photo of one that I made for when I'm wearing shorts. I use a speed belt and the 2nd holster and it rides just below the waist band of a snug, drawstring pair of shorts.
Not so snug that I can't get to it quickly. The pull-the-dot softloops stay in place as they can't come off the thin belt. This one doesn't have/need the leather backing because it doesn't press against me near as much as a pair of jeans with a gun belt.

Just giving ideas.

I agree that the holster you choose is an issue of personal preference, but a leather lined Kydex holster isn't always bulkier and more expensive.

My Garrett holster isn't any thicker on the hip than my LAG Tactical holster. The two also cost the same.

With a good holster costing upwards of $75 or more, finding the right fit can get costly quick. In many cases, you're taking a chance that a holster maker or style fits your needs just right. It doesn't take long before your holster collection out numbers your gun collection.

I know I'm not the only one with a Rubbermaid bin full of old holsters taking up space in the basement. I missed the trade-in barrels of holsters that gun stores used to have (in my area at least) where you could find a used holster to try and save a few bucks in the process.

Vote for Garrett holsters. I have two for my M11...the STX 2.0 for OWB and Silent Thunder GT for IWB. I have noticed other comments here about them being bulkly. I will say that the Silent Thunder is a bit bulky, but so is the gun. I have been able to conceal it at appendix carry with the right clothing. For your P365 I don't think bulkyness would even be an issue given the size of the gun. Make sure to get their version of a "claw" as well if you go with them. It is only a few bucks extra and helps to pull the grip closer to the body.
