Ordered one yesterday, will be converting one of my originally CA-compliant P365's to the X-Macro grip along with all these new Radian goodies. Interestingly, I had the new CA-compliant X-Macro on order since July and it just landed at my dealer this morning. I stopped by to get the paperwork done today and they had the Ramjet on the shelf as well, looked like a very high quality part.

In 10 days I'll get to compare the factory X-Macro comp to the converted P365 w/Ramjet side by side and see if there's a meaningful difference between the two and which one I can shoot better. Aside from barrel/slides the two will be pretty much identical...

from the tests ive seen, its not even close, the Radian is far more effective

this is a dream gun put together

started out as a p365XL

parts:

•Align tactical offset mag release
•Armory Craft extended safety
•MCarbo flat trigger
•Streamlight TLR7A weapon light
•Holosun EPS Carry
•SIG P365X slide with rear sights retained
•SIG Legion basepad
•Radian Ramjet Afterburner compensator + barrel
•QVO holster (amazing)

oem everything else internally, only things I would like to change is a custom Norsso slide that has the same texture as the Icarus Ace Frame, thats just gucci extra extra, but it would be my final step, maybe a nice design back plate just for looks.

I have not used the comp yet, but it is supposed to reduce recoil by 40%+, I have one on my Glock 19x and its insane, shoots flatter than any pistol I have shot besides a Staccato XC which is a $4,000 comped 2011

I’m gonna get that radian comp set up and one of those back strap pieces.
I’m gonna test this out with both my Icarus grips and the Sig macro grip with that radian setup. I’m really curious which one is the most comfortable/best controlled set up?
I actually got a chance the other day to shoot a staccato c2 and fell in love.
If I can make my Sigs shoot just as smooth, knowing they are very different triggers, I’ll be happy as is then.

Staccatos and 2011's are wonderful pistols, probably my favorite gun out there because the 1911/2011 mechanics are superior to most people (grip angle, trigger, thumb safety's with ledge)

I sold my C2 because I carried my p365 over it always, the C2 is still a bit of a chunker, lil bigger than a g19 and even with a stippled grip it was thick, without stippled grip I did not like it at all.

will the p365 shoot as fast or accurate, nope, but not enough to justify carrying a 3-4k pistol setup.

a comped p365 will probably shoot quite flatter than a C2, sure of it!

and an icarus ace frame will shoot better than a polymer frame any day, there may be more felt recoil because of the metal , where polymer has flex to absorb, but the added weight and ergos is clearly superior.. if one is just using polymer grips and does not want an icarus or mm etc, sure get the Radian upgrades, otherwise go full out

Seems like everyone is comparing the radian to a xmacro comp only. Would like to know how it compares to a pmm.

it performs far better than an xmacro type slide cut, its not even a fair comparison, and it does perform and look better than the PMM, supposed to be more reliable as well!

not to mention it has a far superior mounting method - no threaded barrel - 50 state legal. superior product

PMM is an after thought compared to the Radians with all things consider in my opinion, if you already have a PMM setup, i dont know if it is worth it to change, up to the user

Yeah I have an xmacro comp and recently bought a pmm comp and dpm springs. Didn't realize the radian was gonna be released... wanted the radian on looks alone lol. It looks like it could be an oem part. Not just an after thought as you said. May end up getting the radian just because that's what I originally wanted.

Have you been able to find a good conceal carry holster for this? This is literally the exact build I’m doing as we speak. Little worried about finding a holster to fit everything.

I really wish they were still selling that Icarus lower in that color. I was told today in a email that they aren’t selling it anymore.

oh really? thats a shame, love this fire bronze, and yes QVO (quick violent over) makes an excellent holster I highly recommend, one of the best holsters I have ever had along with my tenicor. basically all you need is a p365XL holster as far as I know, it basically simulates a p365xl slide dimensions wise.

I’ll definitely check out those holster options. I thought your Icarus lower was the apex FDE color not the fire bronze. I’m trying to get the apex fde color to match the bronze ramjet I put on it. It’s the last thing I’m waiting for for the built to be completed. I’ll post pictures here when it’s done.

Do you get lower 1/3rd cowitness with the xray sights? Also can you Mount optic directly without a plate? Curious about your build, very nice, I did a Fdez build and regret it, as oem slide probably more reliable with different ammo and afterburner is less finicky at least it is on my g17.
