Pretty guns.

Most of my guns are purposeful carry guns or for hunting.

But I have a couple that are just beautiful.

I have an Al Biesen pre-`64 Model 70 in .30-06 Ackley Improved that is nearly a work of art. It was built for my dad for elk hunting, and he gave it to me for Christmas. It's too pretty to hunt with, IMHO.

My other pretty rifle was also a gift from my dad years ago. It's another custom built pre-`64 Model 70, this one in 35 Whelen and built by Mel Smart in Montana.

Lastly is my Uberti 1873 Peacemaker in .45 Colt. It's just a hoot to shoot and cast bullets for.

Let's see your pretty guns.

I have a Ruger Single Six that I would never part with just because it is such a thing of beauty.

My best deal ever.April 2006, in the box, 3 grips, papers, parts, junk barrel tool, sales receipt from 1981, barely fired. $269 on GB. Nobody bid on it, but uglier ones went for about $100 more, without anything with them. Notice the custom sights, much stronger the the stock DW sights. My first gun ever purchased on an auction site.

Nothing more refreshing than some beautiful firearms.

Here are a few of mine.

We should also have a category for most dangerous looking firearms. I have a few which would fit into scary firearms you would never want to go up against.
