Just picking on you @dgaddes1 since I see you're new to the forum. Please take the following lightheartedly as that's how it's intended.

You use a thumb safety and Ballistic... are you also new to the firearms world?

I use Slip2000 on everything. We recently moved from extremely humid Nashville. Never had rust issues on 365.

I've heard of the rust issues but haven't experienced it thankfully. Took a 3 day class it was 85 to 90 all three days. Nothing to speak of. I also run full sweat guard on holsters.

All of my holsters have full sweat guards. I also never carry directly against my skin. I either wear a polyester compression-type or standard sleeveless undershirt, which, probably, also helps protect gun from sweat.

(The polyester type allow your T-shirt or dress shirt slide easier when pulling/untucking to draw.)

yup - fully agree on the full sweat guard holsters and a slippery undershirt. In the blistering summer heat i have thin tank tops made of polyester so its not uncomfortable to layer on another shirt. Plus, i have found that wiping with a gun cloth a few times a week makes a difference. I even do a light wipe on the magazine. The finish on these Sigs is MUCH BETTER than what comes with the Ruger LCP Max (at least in my case). But thats a topic for another day

Hi all,
First time poster. I purchased a P365 as my EDC along with a 12 rd mag. I carry IWB @ 4 o'clock. A few weeks ago I went on a 5 day motorcycle camping trip around my state. I carried the firearm in an IWB concealment express holster under both jeans and riding pants. I wiped down the firearm every night but kept it next to me. When I got home I noticed I still had rust on the slide serrations and magazines. I cleaned it up as much as possible but when showed my buddy I was riding with, he was shocked. He rides with a Canik and didn't wipe it down at all. Not a lick of rust on anything.
My sig is less than a year old and I only have a 1000 rounds through it. Anybody else have these issues?
