P365 in .45 ?

Anybody thought about this? Of course the number would be different.
Eight round magazine. Size about 1/4" longer and taller than the 9mm and maybe a bit wider. Ten round extended mag. I would go for one.

I just picked up a used Kahr P45 and think a Sig the same size or a bit smaller with eight rounds instead of six would be a much better gun.

Not really. A P365 equivalent in .45 should be 8 rounds. All other subcompact .45's are 5 or 6 rounds.
I own both a P365 and a Kahr P45. At least for me the Kahr ergonomics are just a little off, while the 9mm P365 is very good. So I think a Sig .45 just enough larger than the P365 to accommodate the larger round would be pretty good. Sig seems to like 1911 pattern for .45 though.
Someone mentioned recoil with a 230 grain Gold Dot in the Kahr P45. I have to agree- its pretty rough, and at 780 fps per my chronograph. I have been trying reloads in the Kahr the past couple of weeks though and found a 200 grain Gold Dot at 900 fps tolerable with one of the powders I tried.
I am not sure which I prefer, 9mm or .45. Just started shooting .45 recently,. Though I think a .45 option in a Sig would be interesting-- but maybe not a money maker for the company as has ben pointed out.
