Probably needs a good breakin and needs full power ammo.

Comped guns generally dont like weak ammo any way.

Ive been shooting 115 FMJ
Tried Blazer, Sellier & Bellot, American Eagle but all 115.

 

Try some heavier grain ammo. My comp P320 has been getting better. I've put 200rd of 147 and a box of 124+p through it and now it cycle 115 better. First time was with 115 and it would stovepipe every single round. My P320 X Carry Legion also have a comp and would stovepipe even after running 124 and 147. I had to replace the recoil spring to get it to work.

 

A lot of times, even Glocks need some 124 gr NATO type ammo to loosen up. Not hard to imagine a P320 needing similar break in. 300 is a fair amount, though. If the issue persists with a little hotter ammo, I'd be in touch with Sig, after that. Personally I don't like any gun to require NATO or warmer ammo to break in, but it's a known thing for several brands.

 

We don't know your experience level with very small pistols so don't take offense to the following: two of the most common causes of those symptoms are limp wristing, and/or "unknowingly touching the slide control while the pistol is cycling".

Be sure your grip is very firm, and keep your thumbs away from the slide control.

I had ejection problems on my first P320 in 2016. Called Sig and they said send it in and they replaced several parts and did the safety update. Also put in a flat trigger for me at no charge. I did buy the trigger. Haven't had any issues with the other three 320 versions though.

 

I would get some 124gr ammo and see if the issues continue.

I have fired around 300 rounds and no matter what ammo i use, every mag is seeing one to five failures to eject. Blazer Brass is the worst with at least 5 out of 10 failures. I cleaned the gun when I received it but the issue continues. A bit disappointing with all the hype. Trigger is amazing, grip is amazing, just cant seem to fire 10 rounds without either shells not ejecting or having the bullet jam. Anyone else having these issues ????

Just curious, what brand ammo and what grain did you use ?

I ran Bazer 115 and 124, BPS 124 and an off brand Belom 115

I also put a Romeo 1 Pro on it! Its fire!

 

I’m hearing people with newer bought Spectre Comps have the ability to run everything. The older versions not so much. Apparently Sig changed something along the way. High powered, low powered, 500 rounds later I could not go through a magazine with a stovepipe. Slide was very hard to pull back. It was like the recoil spring was too strong for the application. Put in a DPM recoil spring so I could play with the spring weights and now she runs everything with zero issues. Problem is the recoil spring on the Spectre Comps that are jamming.

 

 

I was having the same problem. The only ammo that seems to work is Sig 9mm Luger

 

Mine is running flawlessly with 124 grain 9mm with an occasional hiccup with 115 grain ammo. Maybe one stove pipe every 50-60 rounds. I think that will correct itself with a few more rounds down range.

 

Same problem, Mine was having a lot of stove pipes with 115gr. ammo. Talked with Sig and the CS guy said to run a couple of hundred 124gr. rds. until it has a chance to loosen up. He also said to leave the slide racked for a week or two while the gun is in the safe will help loosen it up. After about 225 124gr. rounds it is now eating 115gr. ammo with out any problems.

CS guy also hinted that the P320 Spectre Comp was designed by the marketing dept., not the engineering dept.

 

 

I bough a 320 Spectre Comp New and with 115 grains jam constantly. I switched to 124 grain and from 150 rounds jammed 5 times.(much better than 115). I will give another 500 rounds chance before call Sig for warranty.

 

Did you install the guide rod assembly wrong? The holes go north south, not east west

 

Have this exact issue. Even sent it back to sig to get fixed but it still has this problem. Anyone remedy this?

 

Use a lighter recoil spring and/or more powerful ammo.

 

Blazer brass for some reason, doesn't work well with Comps. I never use it with comped guns anymore. I had similar issues with my Spectre comp when I first got it. I cleaned and lubed it then shot the daylights out of it. I shoot exclusively 115gr and its been smooth sailing since.
50% failure is way too many for a break in issue.
Did you install an optic on the gun before your first range trip? Just wondering if your extractor is fouled or the spring is trapped. A long time ago I installed and optic with screws too long and pinched the extractor spring. Either this or excess Loctite on the spring from the optic screws. Wouldn't take much. I've also had a bur on the tip of the extractor. Some quick filing fixed that issue.
