Hi guys,

Are the rxp models the only ones that have a beaver tail that accept supressor sights to cowitness with a red dot? It looks like all the models with the sight plate are similar to the p365xl in that the sights come off completely if you use a red dot similar to the p365xl, is that true?

Thanks in advance

The RX Pro and RX both have rear sight dovetails rear of the MRDS cut. However, keep in mind the original RX only accepts the original Romeo1 due to its unique footprint. All other have the rear sight integrated into the MRDS plate.

There are a few models in the X-Series with a dovetail on the actual slide vs. the sight/cover plate that also forgo the LCI:

RXP
Pro LE
V-Tac
AXG
Pro-Cut slides
ZEV Octane (a collaboration between SIG & ZEV, slides are milled by SIG and finished by ZEV)

What optic are you planning on using? the Romeo1pro has a rear sight notch built in and the Deltapoint pro has an add on adjustable rear sight(I think this configuration is why the slide cut removes the rear sight, it's rather long)

I have a Pro-Slide with the rear sight on the slide rather than the plate.

After some research I am probably looking at the 320 rxp with romeo 1 pro. If not then probably just some 320 and the r1 pro. I would prefer to have an actual tiritum rear sight but now that I see that it has a notch that would probably be fine too. I haven't hear great thing about leupold customer service. I was looking at the DPP specifically for the rear sight attachment but I have read some horror stories about 2 month turn around for customer service and I'd rather not deal with that. Sig turn around on my p365xl slide that needed a new rear sight because the factory stripped one side by installing a screw on an angle took literally 3 days from when they received it too ship back out to me.
