P320 9mm weak ejection?

I have a new P320 full size 9mm. First trip to the range, it shot great but ejection was weak with 115 gr loads. Most ejected to the right of my shoulder with a few dribbling out onto my arm. I'm an experienced shooter so not a grip issue. No big deal but curious if the recoil springs are stiff coming out as I didn't experience this with my Compact. I assume this will improve but curious to know if others experienced this?

I can't say I had any problems with my full size. Could just be getting broken in. If it's still throwing shells to your 5 or 6 'o'clock by time you get to 500 rounds something isn't right. Try a variety of ammo as well. Another thing you could try is leaving the slide locked back overnight to help it it get broken in. Or just pick up a Springer Precision guide rod and 1911 recoil spring and call it a day.

Mine does the same thing with WWB 115gr ammo.

Puts all the empties in a neat little pile on the shooting table, so I don't have to look all over creation for them.

Reloaders appreciate little things like that.

But, in over 500 rounds my fullsize P320 9mm has never malfunctioned.
Not even with my crappy reloads.

My brand new 9mm compact is doing the same thing. I had a pile of brass about 18" from my right foot and had plenty of rounds hit my right arm and hand, (I shoot left handed).

I'm shooting 115gr Blazer Brass till I run out. Had zero malfunctions but it's still concerning.

The gun feels phenomenal and shoots like a Lazer so I'm hoping its ammo related, and maybe a hotter round will have a more confidence inspiring ejection.

Shoot it a little more to break in the recoil spring.
Leaving the slide back does very, very, little, the spring is a contraction & expanding spring, ( works both ways. )

It's the actual usage that will soften it up.
+ it may be set up for full power loads.

Make sure to grease your rails and rail contact points.

Looking at the parts page there is only one recoil spring available for purchase, and that spring is for all carry, compact, and subcompact models. Seems odd to have the same spring cover 9mm, .40, and .357 and have that one spring cover two barrel lengths.
