Looks like the PA State Troopers are ditching their 227s and they're occasionally popping up on Gun Broker. I just scored this one that came with an x300, two safariland holsters, and a mag pouch for $800

I have a couple P227s and like them very much. However, I read on this forum some time ago that the P227 was destined for the rubbish bin of history, mainly due to P220 10 rd mags availability, 14 rd mag unreliability, and weight.

I have both the P220 and P227. The normal capacity for both is fine by me. If it's 14 round mags you want though, last I checked CDNN was selling some.

Speaking only for myself, I dislike extended mags sticking outta the bottom of my grip look. It reminds me of a prolapse on the Dr. Pol show.
