Not if posting that price violates SIG's MAP. Maybe you didn't know that?

 

i'm aware......they can't advertise below map, i'm not aware of the buyer being restricted on mentioning price.

They list a price of $349, no mention of calling for a price below map that i see.

Scrupulous dealers and those who want to maintain their relationship with SIG are not allowed to advertise/promote price points below MAP.

They can however invite people privately to contact them privately or satisfied customers, like me, can point people to dealers them privately for better pricing, if available. The dealer in question saw me asking about this optic elsewhere, contacted me privately, and offered me a great price.

A word to the wise, and all that...

 

I have purchased a "SIGnificant" portion of my SIG collection from Osage County Guns. I know with OCG that I have a very reliable, honest and helpful dealer. John is a real good guy. He has done some really nice things for me to help me out in getting something special that I want. He knows how to earn repeat business and has a loyal customer in me.

They may be a little higher than other sellers on GunBroker on some things but it has been worth it to me for the peace of mind I get knowing that I won't get ripped off and they will deliver exactly what they promise. And unlike many sellers I come across, they actually know what they are talking about - especially in their gun listings.

Good to hear about more fans of Osage County Guns.

 

I know I had been looking for a P320 like a year or so ago and when I saw how well they treated customers I bought a matching pair. My only concern was that I lived in NY state and they came with high cap mags... Not an issue... They said for $10 they will swap them out for NY state complaint mags with no issue. I have done a lot of shopping with them since and they are always my first stop when I am looking for new mags or handguns...

Most importantly... They know how to take care of their customers...

 

I bought a Romeo 1B optic from them at a great price, better than anything anyone else was offering. A dealer saw Osage's invitation to me to ask for a good price, and the twit of a dealer tried to steal the sale by offering a lower price than Osage, posted openly, violating the MAP policy SIG has with dealers.

John saw it and told me he would "make it up to me" and he put a SIG hat and a SIG padded case and some other "goodies" in the package that he had packed up and picked up on the same day I ordered the optic.

I mean...wow.

 

I am also a fan of Osage County Guns. Purchased my MPX SBR, MCX pistol, and Sig SRD can through them (all separate occasions). They have always been excellent to work with!!!!!
