I just purchased a Sig 320 x full size. Looking to install a red dot sight. Any opinions would be appreciated. Make, model etc

Also. The X full optic cut is designed to accommodate the delta point pro style optics without needing a filler or conversion plate. There’s plenty of choices from Sig. they range from $150 (zero pro) all the way up to $600 (Romeo 2) The Trijicon brand (delta point pro) should be around $500. Type and color of the reticle open or closed emitter also add to the cost.
From experience. Don’t go cheap. You are just wasting your money.
Hope this helped.

I have one Romeo 1 PRO, it was my first intro to MDS because of our duty pistols I put the Romeo on a 226. I tried a Holosun and that what are on the rest of my pistols and it’s all that I will use. For some reason I can pick up the dot easier and faster than the Romeo eve though the Romeo has a larger window. I think it’s because of the way the Holosuns sit on the slide.

Romeo-X PRO can be configured with a 2 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle, or both. I find the options useful for adapting to different conditions. Can also be had with 6 MOA red dot or 3 MOA green dot. Low deck height is designed for use with X-Ray day/night sights, making for effective co-witness. I have it on my P320, and use the Romeo-X Compact on my P365. They both have held zero over 2K+ rounds.

I have Astigmatism too and I got a Holosun HE512C Gold dot. I cried...LOL My eyes picked up the gold dot better and it was crisp and clear! First image is of the gold dot at setting 7, overhead lights on and the wall color is a beige.

I'm waiting for the AEMS PRO X2 to come out which they have made in a gold dot version.

I'm running the Romeo 1 Pro on my X-carry and running a DeltaPoint Pro(DPP) on one of my other pistols.
Both are very good but I prefer the optics/clarity on the DPP but it is very tall vs the Romeo 1 Pro. If your primarily using it as a range gun, go with the Romeo and if you're doing competitive then go w/ the DPP

I did not want to invest a ton of money in a RDS when I decided to give one a try. I did a bit on online investigation and eventually went with a Cyelee Cat X Pro.

I am very satisfied with it. It has held up very well, has good battery life and the battery compartment is accessible without having to remove the RDS.

The sight has a limited lifetime warranty:
This limited warranty covers the metal housing and protects against defects in workmanship or production for life. All other components, including the objective lens and electronics, are covered by a 5-year warranty against any failures arising from manufacturer defects or workmanship.

Best of all, Cyelee extends a substantial discount to military vets,

I highly recommend anyone looking to venture into the world of RDS to give Cyelee a close look.

Personally, I like the Vortex Defender-ST, 6 MOA, on my Glock G45. I use the Glock as my around-the-farm, home defense and some competitions. Vortex has great customer service and the best warranty in the business. I have has quite a few Vortex products and only had to use the warranty once.

Vortex also offers discounts to military and law enforcement, both active and retired.

My MPX has a circle dot in green that I really like it's a Holosun! I've been very happy with the Holosun's have many on pistols MPX, Benelli M4 and many subguns! I also have Redfeild, Vortex, and a Trijicon on my Glock 21! As my eyes get older and harder to see I've jumped on the RDS bandwagon and happy with all of them! I would go look at the different ones available and compare features so you can find the one you like best-Features, Warranty, and price!
