I'm getting one of these!

Sig just put this up on their website in the last week or less- a P365 XMacro X Series with their new Romeo Xcompact optic pre-installed:

I created the thread for a few reasons- one of which is to show that Sig now has what is arguably the best mini/micro with RMSc mount pattern, open emitter RDO on the market- and with it's low deck height it even allows one to keep their original Sig steel sights for those who want their steel sights to show thru the lens- which saves many shooters about $100-150.

And, Sig isn't a (1234567) OEM manufacturer like Holos0n, Swampf0x, Olite, Feenix, Norinc0... Why should we help the nation of (12345) steal yet another one of our industries?

For me, unless it's a closed emitter optic, it's no dice. As we know old Murphy tends to raise his ugly head at just the worst times, so I prefer the Holosun EPS, EPS carry, 509T or Aimpoint ACRO P2 on my pistols. It's great to have choices.

For closed emitter pistol optics I like the Aimpoint Acro P-2 (Swedish company & made in Sweden), the Trijicon RCR (USA & USA made), and the new Romeo m17 for m17/m18 Mil style mounting (USA and USA assembled).

Sig will soon offer a closed emitter optic with a DPP/R1P mount pattern.

Sig advertises the Romeo-X compact as having a "Low Deck Height For Standard-Height Iron Sight Co-Witness".

I've got a Holosun 507K mounted, got it as a Christmas present but I would have purchased the Romeo-X compact had I not gotten the Holosun. I lIke the holosun, but just curious about the Sig advertised "Low Deck Height For Standard-Height Iron Sight Co-Witness" and if one can really co-witness with the "Standard-Height Iron Sight". Anyone got any pics of this?

I personally don't go the co-witness obsession route for my P365, but just curious what that looks like with the Romeo-X compact and the standard height iron sights.
