I thought the same thing, but I hope not.I wonder if the 226 X-Carry means they'll discontinue the P229 Legion (which I've been using as my primary pistol)
Im going to go with, absolutely.I thought the same thing, but I hope not.
P226 X-Carry Legion… Does this mean the P229 Legion is on the verge of extinction? The carry... Oh my gosh!Looks like I'm going to be broke.
The P-Classic Legion pistols have been sold for $1349.99 at my LGS… I assume the X-Carry may be around that price too.MSRP for current Legions is $1,430 and street price is around $1,200. I can see MSRP at $1,500 and prices dropping in 9 months.
When I was recently comparing da/sa, one comparison I was making was the CZ shadow 2 carry and the P01, with thoughts to cajunize the latter. Very soon after the recent S2 carry release, the P01’s actually went up in price by several hundred dollars.I thought the same thing, but I hope not.
My exact same thoughts but knowing me, I'd probably burn the wallet by getting both of them (...& keep the P229 Legion SAO).If I were going to replace my P229 (which at this time is unlikely), I would probably buy a Dan Wesson optic ready DWX Compact rather than a P226 Legion X-Carry.
Is the price for the Xcarry known yet?If I were going to replace my P229 (which at this time is unlikely), I would probably buy a Dan Wesson optic ready DWX Compact rather than a P226 Legion X-Carry.
No idea. 🤷Is the price for the Xcarry known yet?
My guess would be no I think there is still a market for the shorter grip (15rd). However, I could be wrong - I have been before. At least I hope the 229 staysP226 X-Carry Legion… Does this mean the P229 Legion is on the verge of extinction?
