Size is nice but what method does it use to measure the mv? Guessing similar to the Labradar unit. Could be why they dropped their price to a hundred less than this. I'd like to see some real world results first. Especially indoor results.

 

I've had mine for a few weeks and used it indoors and out. It's a doppler radar and it just plain works. Incredibly easy to set up and get working right out of the box and it records every single shot. Can test subs, supers, handguns, arrows, hell...it'll even record your nerf gun. No fuss, no drama. I've not even bothered to read the instructions. There's an app you can download for your smartphone and it synchs with the phone. There's room for notes and other details you wish to add to the shot group. Shows SD, ES, etc...can go between metric and imperial, etc...I have to wear reading glasses these days and I could not read my Magnetospeed without glasses. No issues reading the Garmin.

It'll end Labradar (and everything else), it's that good. It's made my Magnetospeed obsolete and it's effing tiny! Gun for size reference and gratuitous Sig content

Similar to Labradar, but a lot more user friendly and more compact. This is the reason you will find a ton of Labradars on the market right now. Check out Youtube for videos on this. I sure am glad I sold my Labradar.

 

I've used the Labradar but there was a learning curve. The size was a factor in indoor use. But the size of the Garmin is really attractive.

 

LabRadar were difficult to use and had other issues. They never really attempted to upgrade it. Garmin is getting into the shooting world in a big way with this and the trapshooter tool
