New 9mm Ammo at Walmart

The Walmart near me (Gulf Breeze, FL) had Perfecta for $10.99/box o 50. Picked up 200 rds on Thursday and shot 50 through my P320, 50 through my FNS 9. Then yesterday shot the rest with my CZ75 and SP2022. All the guns seemed to like it. Very happy with this ammo, fully reliable and no hangups. Hope they keep selling it at this price...or lower!

BTW the SP2022 is awesome! I actually shot it just as well as I did the other 3.

Absolutely agree, I enjoy shooting my SP2022 in 9mm too.

I shot a few hundred rounds of this early last year when I first saw it. Like you guys. It was around $10/50 box.

Now its 13.97.

I've been shooting 115 federal aluminum since.

I had no issues with it, but when I shoot I really shoot.

And the difference of $9 and $14 goes a long way.

Perfecta has made it's way up here DFW in 9mm, .45, .223 and .308.

I've only shot the .308 with no problems, but not quite as tight of groups as the Herters steel and brass case, and some Brown Bear I compared it to. At fifty cents a round not too bad for .308

I like shooting the Perfecta ammo out of the p320 also no problems. I just started shooting this ZVS 124gr. ammo I get at Smoky mountain knives made in Slovakia and it runs through the p320 great also and at $12.99 for 50 RDS I'll keep buying it.

I'm sure you all know Walmart is now selling this by the 1000 rd case for $138.00. They rolled back the price about 20 years. Bought a case last night and a new 320 today. Hope to put them together tomorrow. I could not believe it $138.00 per 1000 for 9mm

I saw the $10,97 boxes of 50 today; but no such thing as a case for a buck thirty eight. I reckon I would buy one or two of those:D

You wouldn't happen to have a scan of your receipt, would you? I'd love to see if our local Wally's would match that price!

Yes I am sure I will post my receipt later. I live in Camden DE $138.00 for 20 boxes of 50. 1000 rounds. They have it on rollback price. I had heard about and went on Sunday the had 10 boxes in the case ( no limit) then the guy asks if I want a case they had 10. In the case it was marked 6.97 per box of 50.

Somebody tell me how to post a pic and I will post my receipt later. I do have photobucket

Wow...well done! I stopped by ours today and picked up 5 boxes of the Perfecta @ 10.97ea...only about a buck a box more than the internet case price I usually 'shoot' for. The ammo dude said it was not even packed in typical case packaging, so he has never seen a 'case' of Perfecta

They had the best supply/selection of 9mm in the history of this new location(under a year). Not a drop of 22lr, as usual:rolleyes:

I would love to find brass 9mm for seven bucks a box!!!:D

Not using them again!!

I went to Walmart and saw this Perfecta ammo and decided to give it a try at the range cause they were about $11 for 50 bullets. I own a Springfield XDS 9mm and every time I fully loaded the magazine it would jam the gun after trying to fire the first shot. Tried doing the same with different ammo and the gun worked fine. I guess you get what you pay for with this ammo, which is not much.

I was back at my Walmart tonight no ammo on shelves and the girl did not know they had any. Then I saw the guy that sold me the case for 138.00 I asked him he said yes and asked if I wanted 2 cases. I bought one for $138.00. It is def in cases. He opened the case scanned 1 box then times twenty.
I asked him if other walmarts are doing this. He had no idea.
I am not crazy you can call the Camden Delaware walmart 302-698-9170 ask for sporting goods ask how much their roll back price for perfecta 9mm box of 50 and they will tell you $6.97. The 40 and 45 is on rollback also but did not have any.
I will probably go back tomorrow for another one. You can't have too much 9mm

Two Wallys on the way to the range. I'll definitely check both tomorrow. that would be a hard price to pass up!

Perfecta works well for me but I haven't even gone through one box yet. Better believe I'm gonna run by the Wally World and see about that 1000 rd deal Yall are talking about but I bet out here in hillbilly west Texas it's all been snatched up if there was.

Went through my 9mm boxes and it seems I have yet to actually shoot any perfecta yet. But I went by Walmart anyway and they didn't have the bulk deal going. They did however have it on rollback for just under $10 a box so I got a few boxes to test out. It looks really good on visual inspection. Looks better than the cheap brass-cased federal stuff I often shoot and those are $13.xx a box. Those have been very reliable for me, for what it's worth. Just make sure you don't buy the aluminum case version of that ammo. They look rough.
