I am having trouble installing the internal slide lever so that it lays flat in it's channel allowing the slide to mate with the frame.

See photos.

I can't seem to install the safety lever so that it sits flush with the groove and so I cannot assemble the slide to the frame. What am I doing wrong.

Not on purpose, but yes and then had to partially disassemble the FCU. Actually I installed an intellifire trigger and in the process it fell out. I did uncover he blind hole and thought after many tries I had it. But, no.

I did that but will check sig guy videos.

Thank you.

i have not done this modification... but...

I believe you need a grip module that specifically accommodates the added safety lever:

No, look at the photos. Not a grip safety. It is in all p365 variants.

Can you push it forward and down with your finger? Sometimes I have to do that to reinstall the slide on mine. If not, have you disassembled the FCU at all? If so, did you remove the pin that holds the safety lever? It looks like your FCU is not seated fully in the grip module, which leads me to believe the pin may not be installed fully and is sticking out the left side and interfering with the FCU going in all the way.

Thank you, I have pushed that lever down but it will not go down enough to clear the slide end plate.

I did replace the trigger so yes I did disassemble the FCU which is when that lever fell out. After geting it back in twice I had the same issue. The FCU does seem to want to can't towards the right when viewed from the back.

I do think the pin is inserted all the way but will check again.

Haven't done it yet. Need to watch the SigGuy video and waiting for a response from Tyrant CNC.

Its actually pretty easy, you just need to tip the FCU down on its side, visually line up the safety dog in the hole, then slide the pin in from the backside. It helps if you have a pin the same size to line it up. Then you can push the safery pin in and push the other pin out the other side.
I've changed dozens of triggers and it has happened to me a number of times.
