I may wait for the Velociraptor to come out lol[emoji38].. since I have the Rattler as of now lol. And a 716i gen2. As far as 308 goes. I see it as there's 2 I need. One of max power. And one for shush.. ie the 300 blackout. I wouldn't refuse one if it was cheap and in front of me tho for sure!

Essentially, the SPEAR will be neutered into a mega .308 Rattler, with an 8” barrel and called the Raptor!

First, this video was filmed in January of 2021, so these might be available soonish.

Second, as mentioned in the video, it appears this will be a SPEAR lite. So you could take a 6.8x51 SPEAR upper and slap in onto this lower. And there is talk of other longer barrels and handguards being available.

So I REALLY REALLY WANT one of these!

BTW... I think the name should be GLADIUS, since it's based off the SPEAR.

Actually, James Reeves said, the video was filmed summer 2020, so hopefully sooner, than later? I agree, get the base model and hope for the upgrades. Unfortunately, Sig has a habit of overselling an item, MPX, then not fallowing through.

He may be referring to the multi cal kits they was supposed to offer later. So many rushed and bought them on that notion alone I think. And then they never followed thru. Kind of a downer. Be fun to run some other cals thru mine. But then again I'd likely just buy separate guns if I really was serious about it. But the fact remains

Ah gotcha. I was really hoping for a 357 kit for the MPX and a 7.62x39 kit for the MCX. I’m doubtful it will ever happen.
