well looks like its time to make the drive up there

 

I was just there yesterday and I'm not going to be able to get there before early next week, so I'm out of luck I guess. Hopefully it's a sign of things starting to loosen up a bit more.

 

Thanks for the notice this is my go to ammo shop. But while you are there head 4 miles east to Cabels, they stock around 8pm. I have found 9mm and .22 every trip.

They had made the anouncement but I was done and don't really need any ammo but great for those that do!

I did stop in Cabelas last week because I was going right by there and bought a box of Remington 525 Golden Bullet value pack for $24. However they will not feed in my Ruger Mark 1. Good thing I have quite a bit of Federal bulk pack left. Maybe I will have better luck with the Remington Golden in my P226 .22 conversion kit.

Remington Golden is some of the dirtiest 22 ammo I've ever seen (admittedly I haven't seen a lot, but...). After one and 1/2 value packs we had a Sig 1911, a Sig Mosquito, and a Colt M16 all out of commission until they could be thoroughly cleaned. FTFs and FTEs were constant at the end. Good luck with that stuff, and bring some wipes for your hands, just loading mags will leave them grey.
