’ve carried appendix for probably 7 years everyday all day in a vedder. They are the best I’ve found.

If you have accumulated enough "fighting weight" to have over-achieved and garnered the DunLap Award (dun lapped over the belt), I would forget about appendix IWB carry and get/order a Milt Sparks VersaMax II AND their belt for your pistola and carry at about 3:30. That being said, the best AIWB holster I have encountered to date has been the Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite.

 

You described me perfectly, although, I have lost a lot of weight. Those milt sparks is way more than what I want to spend.

 

Big fan of Vedder holsters, have one for every one of my EDC guns.

Thanks. My problem is unless the holseter is at 3 o'clock, will be difficult to reach for the handgun. but at the same time, appendix seems tto be a no go unless i wear my pants below the belly.

 

Appendix certainly isn’t for everybody. I had to shrink my waist down a bit thru diet to make it work

another tip is to go up 2 sizes in pants (or buy some button extenders). But that helps in any IWB carry position.

 

the pants aren't the problem, to me the best comfort place is at like 4:30 but it is real difficult to reach around to get the firearm. If I move it closer to 3 then I start printing.

 

My wife's nephew uses a Tier 1 for his 365 and it's pretty nice. He swears by it.

The P365X Macro Comp is a great carry choice. If you're considering appendix carry or 3 to 5 positon, but are concerned about comfort and printing, I’d definitely recommend checking out the Tenicor. Their holsters are well-designed to minimize printing while still being super comfortable, even for folks with a bigger build. It might take some adjustment, but a good belt and holster combo can make a huge difference! Also, if comfort is a concern, something like the Cloudster Pillow can make any setup even better for all-day wear and improved concealment.

 

Well I'll mark this up to being new, just learning that iwb holsters that accommodate a wpn light, there is no positive retention click. It is only friction that will hold the handgun in the holster. So, I guess the next question is, conceal carry, with or without a light?

 

This thread is four months old...with the Tenicor, the XL and Xmacro Comp take different holsters. I had a line on a Velo 5 for the XL and asked Tenicor if the Comp would work...nope.

OP, what holster did you end up with? I have an Xmacro Comp setting at the dealer to pick up...just cannot get the time to get in there.

 

Tenicor had/has a blemish sale going on. Picked up a Certum3 for better then 1/2 off
