Longtime lurker, first time poster. I picked up the Sig P220 Legion SAO 10mm recently and haven't been able to find a holster for it. I'm looking for an OWB and the only option I have found is on the Sig website is the Mitch Rosen made one but it has been out of stock every time I have checked.

Does anyone know of where else I can find a holster? The search has been incredibly difficult because most places aren't clear whether the holster is compatible with the 10mm's 5" barrel or the shorter barrel of the .45.

Much thanks and looking forward to more discussions with you all.

The Legion SAO and Hunter SAO both have 5" barrels. Milt Sparks can fix you up, as can Simply Rugged Holsters.

Agreed they are hard to find. I have a kydex OWB holster from Black Rhino Concealment incoming for my P220 10mm:

I'll post pics when it arrives, but I own other holsters from Black Rhino and they are well made.

This is something I was looking for, I am more used to kydex as I carried my 1911s in condition 1/cocked & locked. My understanding is that kydex is somewhat safer than leather for this type of carry. I also live in a humid environment which would affect the leather eventually.

To be clear, the P220R 10mm 5" is the same as the P220 Legion 10mm? I remember reading somewhere that Sig eventually dropped the "R" designation. So the 200R5 5in (10mm) would be the Black Rhino model for my gun?

Hunter, Legion, all Stainless models of 10mm 220 are all SAO with Adj. rear sights are all the same physical size.
The DA/SA model (mostly 2 tone) but GT had a all stainless version too have fixed sights.
Don’t know about specific holsters. I have generic chest holster I bought at Cabelas.
10mm 220s have longer barrel so most regular 220 holsters are questionable.

Check out Alien Gear. They have become my new favorite OWB holster and I can switch between paddle and loop. So far I’ve gotten them made up for my 229’s, 239, and just arrived today, for my 232. Great holster, great company, amazing customer service, 30 day try or return and lifetime warranty.
Couldn’t be happier.

I carry my P220 10mm DA/SA in a Hill People Kit bag. This works really well for me when I’m working at remote sites and it’s just not practical to have something on my hip. And it Protects the gun from the endless onslaught of dust mud and rain I experience. Makes the weight and size much less noticeable.
