Grip Medallion removal/swap?

I was hoping to swap out a grip medallion set; I’m curious if anyone has tried previously?

I have a spare 225a1 set that wasn’t glued which popped out easy.

Was hoping to pop them into another set that was glued.

Basically curious if the glue is hot glue/epoxy(?) as I don’t want to ruin the grip in the process for an aesthetic swap

Hoping to swap the normal sig, or possibly the legion medallion for the grey guns medallion on the grips on put on my SSE.

I've swapped the medallions on various P938 grips. None of them were held in with glue or epoxy, but I imagine if you take your time, with a sharp blade (or heat, if it's hot glue) you won't cause any permanent damage.

At the gun shop I worked at, we used heat lamps to cause the epoxy to crystalize. A hot knife might make it easier to get through.
