Geissele MPX Trigger

Just purchased my first Sig, an MPX, can’t wait to pick her up next week.

Comes with a Timney trigger but all I own is Geissele and I know I want to go that route.

Anyone know where to source a G MPX trigger, website or from your private stash perhaps?

Looked all over the net and cannot find one.

Tried looking for the WTB section with no success and did not see one for sale either.

I’m an HK forum guy mostly to this point and that section has been very helpful.

Thanks,

Mark

If I were you, I’ll keep the Timney. The timney is better suited for the MPX compared to the geiselle. Geiselle wants you to install extra power recoil springs to counteract the force of the bolt from destroying the geiselle.

If you really want a nice trigger, installed either a Hiperfire eclipse or if you can wait for a couple of weeks, buy and install the Hiperfire phantom. The Hiperfire triggers are in a league of their own compared to the timney or geiselle.

I had all three and ended up with the Hiperfire eclipse since I use my MPX in USPSA. My primary MPX is a gen 2 with a Hiperfire eclipse while while backup is an MPX PCC model with the stock timney trigger. With a timer and standard drills, there’s no discernible difference between the two. The geissele only lasted one trip to the range because it failed to reset after about 500 rounds of I had to return it.

Thanks for the intel George. It is much appreciated.

I guess I am judging the Timney by its cover as I don’t love the look of the flat trigger, no offense to anyone who prefers them, I just like the look of a traditional style bow. Not to mention a sucker for anything Geissele it seems as they are not known for releasing a half baked product.

I ordered a Wilson Combat 9mm trigger for comparison. I will report back after shooting both.
