Not impressed 😕 just two more poly Strikers that aren't much different than anything else. And I believe it's a stretch to claim capacity just by hanging the magazine out the bottom. I mean seriously how many rounds would that 10 mm hold with a normal magazine? I know my fnx45 holds 15 + 1. If I hang 2 inches of magazine out the bottom I could get it up to around 20 or 22(n)

They used to come with three, now only two. Yes that's a real pisser! Especially since the magazines are $55 a piece. The first three FNX 45s I bought had three magazines. The last two came with only two. But the cases still come with space for one in the gun and two extras in bag in the case of the Tactical, or plastic case in the case of the standard. That change happened about 2 years ago.

I've always thought that FN was a bit proud of their goods, this is no exception. However, I like to see more 10mm firearms entering in the market as it makes it more competitive and hopefully helps make ammo and aftermarket support more readily available.

I have the found the FNS9 to be a fine pistol. I was not happy when they came out with the 509 shortly thereafter and there was no magazine compatibility. Nice handling, good grip angle, low bore axis, easy to shoot and comfortable to carry. If the 10 is even close it would be worth a look. What is the standard mag capacity?

When the OP @Lexie__M posts things like this. I'm sure the idea is to get thoughts and opinions on the product. I've seen some good ones, some bad ones, and some absolutely ridiculous. That is part of the point of this forum. Rarely do I respond to them unless I see something I like. I very much like Fabrique Nationale, I always have. But when I see something like that, it strikes me as desperation without innovation.

I'd love to own a 510 but they effed it up and don't make non optics ready like the same as other recent releases.

I use an rds on my EDC, but I want the slide to be milled for the optic, not a let's cut the grand canyon into the slide then sell plates to the suckers that buy this inferior design.

I have a perfect description of this design but would most likely get banned for posting it.

I concur with lumpermsn above, as both my X-Ten and M&P M2.0 4.6" 10mm's have been excellent shooters and I have not experienced any of the issues/problems some have stated. I can't speak for others, but mine are both good to go.

Granted, I loaded all of the magazines w/ 15 10mm snap caps each for 2 weeks before use (8 mags for each), completely stripped/cleaned/lubed each pistol, and thoroughly broke-in both pistols w/ 1,000rds (180fr & 200gr FMJ and JHP ammo) before I used 220gr ammo. The only thing I'm doing "different" is that I'm only loading 14rds in my X-Ten mags b/c I don't like the idea of ham-fisting live rounds into a mag (even w/ a Maglula), plus I don't get FTFeed issues with it. The M&P M2.0 is good w/ 15rds and is a bit more smaller for my woods gun use.

Both the X-Ten and M&P M2.0 are very accurate and they both keepers in my collection. I'll eventually get the FN510 in Black, which means I'll also need another hammer fired 10mm soon as well (Colt Delta Elite Rail) to balance the two other hammered 10mm's I have (P220 Legion SAO and a Kimber Rapide). Hoping for a FNX10...
