I'm afraid that "awesome" wouldn't be the word I'd use to describe the $459 piece of injection molded polymer plastic that forms a chassis system designed for the SIG P320 handgun shown in the provided video, and they're probably adding another product because what they already offer hasn't been selling enough to turn a profit.
And I'm curious to know if a Flux Defense representative informed you of their inability to "...meet demand", or are you just assuming that because their products have been out of stock for weeks/months? Many small outfits (I can't recall ever hearing of Flux Defense) advertise like crazy to judge interest and demand, but will not start actual production until they receive X amount of paid/committed orders, otherwise starting production
wouldn't be cost effective for them. Flux Defense is currently claiming a 1-2 week lead time on orders - which I'll take with a grain of salt.
These chassis systems look all tactical & $#@!, but who's really using them besides those who've received pre-production samples for review, those who've had the ability to try one at SHOT, or the 21 yo kid down the block who bought his first handgun a week ago? I know of
not one single person in my demographic and circle of firearm enthusiasts who use any of these type of chassis systems, and even though they're available in droves,
i.e., for Glocks at every gunshow I attend, they just don't sell. I certainly don't have the desire to conceal carry such a contraption as a handgun, nor would I ever consider such a combination for a SBR build as there are way more better options available, that in my mind are actually worth the $200 tax stamp investment.
But don't let my ramblings dissuade you any; it's obvious that this system appeals to you, so do like the rest of us do - that which makes us happy
