I know this is a silly, trivial thing but did they really need to stamp "ported" on the slide? lol

I'm not really into ported 9mm's but other then that, It looks like a solid option. I do like the heavier crowned barrel but if I was interested in one, I'd probably wait until they come out with a more universal optic mount design that doesn't require adaptor plates.
I don't like it, but, it is- the special model name.
Personally, I don't like the top serrations. For that matter, I'm not crazy about the front serrations either, on anything.

We all like what we like I guess. I agree the top serrations are kind of weird on this model (almost look like a pic rail) but I don't mind the Forward Cocking Serrations (FCS) on this one, actually kind of like it. Kind of looks like they way Sig does them. I think I only have one Sig that doesn't have FCS but I admit, I don't use them. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of FCS on 1911's and I hate the FCS Glock added to their Gen5 models. Those look hideous to me but Glocks aren't exactly know for their looks now are they lol

What if the "top serrations" aren't for cocking, but you reduce slide glare for front sight acquisition instead? 🤔
Could be but either way it still looks kind of goofy. There are other less goofy looking ways of achieving that same goal. Not saying its a show stopper, just saying its not an appealing feature regardless of its intended purpose.

I seriously doubt that is the purpose. CZ did a wonderful job of machining the slide for anti glare purposes on my Shadow 2 Compact and Shadow 2 Carry. Typically, that milling will run front to back on the top of the slide and not what we see on the P-10C ported.

Yes, but those are a sleeker design, not meant to look rugged and for the field. I don't know anyone that does press checks over slide, unless they are using the back serrations, especially not going to use the top of the slide, can't see how it benefits for that purpose.

I don't know why its there, but not a fan either way. Haha
