While looking to buy a new Sig M18 I came across this website ssgundeals(dot)com. They have all the Sig firearms and ammo available in stock at pre Covid pandemic prices. I was very skeptical at first and then suspicious of this. I even got to the point of adding one to the online Shopping cart and then I saw they only accepted CashApp, Zelle Pay and Bitcoins. As they say, if it's too good to be true.... In this time of panic buying there are websites out there trying to scam panicking buyers. This is just ONE of the websites I came across, I am sure there are others out there. Just wanted to share this with everyone. Please be careful

We’ve seen several such here in the past few months. Look up their URL info and you’ll typically see an off shore address and a brand new registration.

Unfortunately, I fell victim to a site several months ago. What pisses me off more than anything is I know better to do my due diligence. Since then, I have compiled a list of perhaps 5 or 6 such sites. I would like to post and make a sticky from it to be added to.

Thanks so much for posting this. I was browsing this morning and found this site. Everything is in stock and at low MSRP prices. I was tempted enough to put one of the new 1911s in my cart and check out. Then I saw the payment options and red flags started flying. Googled the name of the website and ended up here....and much wiser.

Thanks again OP.

Related to this, I've bought a number of guns off of GB. I'm looking at a Sig on there now. It has this banner below it:
"Have you seen this exact same item for sale on another listing web site? Duplicate listings for unique items are generally not allowed and may even be fraudulent. You can discreetly report this listing as a suspected duplicate or fraudulent listing."

The seller is a NR meaning no previous transactions so no record or reviews by sellers. Possibly an honest newby or possibly a scammer who just set up an account. I don't know if that post that on all NR sellers' listings of if they post it because of a suspicious profile. Does anyone know what gets that banner on GB?

Also, I haven't found it clearly stated anywhere, but if you get scammed on GB, do they (GB) guarantee the purchase in any way?
