Picked up one of these new at a good price and finally had a chance to shoot it today and was completely impressed with it. Probably the pistol that I've shot most accurately out of the box ever. For some reason I was just more consistent with it than most other guns I've tried.

Fit and finish is very nice and I even like the safety feature.

Overall a big thumbs up

I've had the same experience. When I had my local gun dealer order one in and looked at it I was very impressed with it inside and out. He kept it until the next day when I was going to come back for it and before I could get there a neighbor that lives around the corner from me bought it on the spot. He had to order another one in for me. Easy to shoot well, great functionality, and has eaten every round I've fed it without a single malfunction. Heavy, and not really a carry gun, but FUNNNN to shoot.

My carry gun is almost 34 ounces unloaded as configured (SIG P229 Enhanced Elite). I do not consider it too heavy for a concealed carry gun. Depending on the ammo I am carrying, it ranges from a little over 38 ounces to just under 40 ounces. Again, I don't find this a problem with either of my Mitch Rosen leather holsters. I can conceal it with my MR UPL holster under a t-shirt, for example. I don't like to forget I'm carrying a gun and, although I can't speak for others, I think weight is overrated in my opinion.

Great pickup. These are high quality Sig clones. I’ve handled them at gun shows and they feel great in the hand. I have enough problems with space in my safe collecting Sigs and CZ’s and revolvers without adding more brands to the list and so far have been exercising restraint!

DA pull is +/- 12 lbs. I got Hogue grips for mine and I think it takes P239 grip screws if I'm not mistaken, and they need to be shortened a tad. The 229 grip screws are short enough there's only 1 thread of engagement - not reliable enough. Mine got all the controls done in stainless duracoat and stainless hex Hogue grip screws to give it the nightmare treatment. Doesn't look exactly like a nightmare because it is paint, but I like it. It seems very well made and would fit a 229 with rail holster. It even fits pretty well in my Garrett P320 compact IWB holster.
