Hi guys just wondering what lbs. a stock Sig 1911 recoil spring is. thinking about changing the spring to match my reloads. does anyone recommend a brand of spring and lbs.

I believe the "standard" power spring is 16.5 lbs with the "extra" power spring at 18.5 lbs. You can get "calibration packs" which have multiple weights either above (extra) or below (reduced) the standard power spring.
