Hey, SIG, talk about community and family.
I'm contacting you for your help, support, and guidance.
I'm a long-term SIG owner:

I recently sold my P320 Max competition gun - Also...
I - Recently sold my P320 X-Compact.

(Side Note: I used My Sig P320 X-Compact - as A daily carry gun, ALTERNATE - Because I felt more confident shooting it than my normal EDC which is my Sig P365XL (Carrying AIWB) - But of course the P320 X-Compact is larger and noticeably less comfortable in EVERY WAY!

- And just for Reference, I am 5'6 - 160 pounds,
with an athletic build.
- The 365XL - disappears on me entirely - It's almost effortless to conceal and I can wear it for 24 hours and fall asleep with it and forget I'm even carrying it...

SO - MY REAL QUESTION IS: (carrying AIWB)
Am also planning to purchase the T1C APX holster for whichever I decide to buy!

- I am deciding between purchasing the
SIG 365 MACRO
OR
the NEW SIG FUSE.

Does anyone here own BOTH?

Any help, guidance support would be greatly appreciated -
your likes, your dislikes - would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance fam!

Macro:
Length -
7.2 in
Height
6.15 in
Width:

1.1 in

Fuse:
Length - 6.6 in
Height - 5.2 in
Width: 1.1 in

So - as we all know height and with or what's most important for concealability... So it would seem that the fuse would actually be easier to conceal.... No?

You have the the measurements swapped. The Macro measurements are for the Fuse and vice versa.

I have the original P365, the XL and an XL slide on a Macro grip (an X-Macro for all practical purposes). I also have a standard slide fitted with a Radeon Afterburner sitting on an XL slide. The X Macro is what I would have to refer to my EDC model.

Thought about the FUSE but just couldn't justify it with what I already have in the safe. However, the FUSE is a fantastic handgun and I may convince myself of the need later this year. May get rid of the Radeon Afterburner to make room for it.

X Macro vs. Fuse... really boils down to what feels best to the shooter. For me, there's not much difference. I like the longer barrel of the FUSE but don't like the raised sights. I like the compact feel of the X Macro but does have a beefier feel (not a boat anchor, just beefier). I do like the extended slide release on the FUSE and have since added that to the X Macro.

As far as concealment is concerned, barrel length has less impact on things than grip length. With the X Macro and FUSE having the same length of grip, neither has a real advantage in concealment in my opinion. I do think the X Macro will have more versatility in that the slide can transition to an XL grip or standard grip module. The FUSE is limited to the Macro grip due to the lengthier slide until someone can figure out how to extend the smaller modules to cover the FUSE's recoil spring assembly.

But what I like may not be what you like. The marvel of this decision is that there is not a bad choice amongst the two. If you have the ability to shoot both, that would be the best thing to do. If not, fondle both at your local gun store to the point people start staring. Then take the plunge with whichever model feels the best.

I think that is very well said and puts a lot of things into perspective for me... With that being said - With all your experience and having owned all those guns - let's say you were me (SOLD all your 320's you have a XL - which you love, but ultimately you want to buy a FUSE or a X-Macro)

But I was also gonna ask you if it's between the FUSE or the X-Macro with the radian afterburner - which would it be?

Assuming my XL will ultimately become a backup carry or backup truck gun...

I know, hard decisions... Appreciate your insight and interested to know what you would ultimately "PULL THE TRIGGER ON" because I feel your point of view is very inline with my current train of thought...

Now you are being dishonest because I do not own any Glocks and sold them all in 2022.

Dislike 365?

You seem to have a problem with the truth. I suggest checking the 365 pic thread because I have post many pics in that thread.

Yes, I also enjoy Sig P series, PX4, and CZs to name a few. They are still popular because they still work and are dependable.

It is ok to disagree with my reasons about the 365, but if you need to fabricate false reasons, that shows poor character about you.
Strawman argument- I don't have to know what you do or don't own and never made any claim to know- I just pointed out your words and how you recommended pistols the OP never asked about when he specifically mentioned the two pistols he was considering for AIWB EDC- the X-Macro and X-Fuse. Of those two pistols, which do you think would be better for AIWB EDC? It's one pistol or the other.

@PA Boxcall - I live in south Florida, I wore shorts and a T-shirt today, so thankfully weather is a non issue!

@PA Boxcall &
@coppertop004 - have either of you carried both the FUSE & The X-Macro in your AIWB as your EDC?

And if yes is the X-Macro significantly more comfortable or are they pretty much the same?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again for your help!

@Jeisler
Fuse is OWB in an Upper Hand holster. IWB for the P365. Both 4 o'clock. Sorry couldn't be more help.

I carry both an XL and a Fuse. I like the combo. Always IWB and sometimes AIWB depending on the situation. If I’m in the motor home driving it’s aiwb. I have a WC grip module on the XL and at times I pull the slide and put it on the Fuse model to use it as a Macro. Other times I run them the way they came. About 4000 rounds thru the two and no issues. YMMV.

@Duoglide1 THANK YOU! - Much appreciate someone who has both - Can you feel any difference between the XL and the fuse in AIWB?
And I too have the WC on my XL - Just sold my P320 X-Compact because it was too big I shoot my XL great - not as great as my USPSA competition gun but hey it's half the size - that's why I ask - Do you feel more confident shooting the FUSE than you do your XL? or you jut like em both... I will keep my XL ultimately but either gonna get the X-Macro which is not much different than my XL or the FUSE which I feel id be more confident with, just on the fence...

@Duoglide1 - Any insight/ guidance would be greatly appreciated

My XL is below:

Understood. However, unlike the OP, you have other pistols that are not micro 9mm. The P229 is an excellent choice for a do everything handgun and has a proven track record.

I believe micros are excellent for edc but do not have the same proven history as other duty ready handguns, like your P229.
Again, the OP asked about a choice between the X-Macro and the Fuse, for EDC. The p365 has a proven track record. You're trolling at this point and you know it.

The p229 is a very good pistol, but your opinion of it- in this thread- is irrelevant to the OP's specific question about a choice between the X-Macro and the Fuse.

I’m certain I was replying to another’s members post, and AGAIN you intervene. The trolling is coming from you.

It's clear you're being intentionally obstinate... Again, your first post in this thread ignored the OP's specific question about an AIWB EDC choice between the X-Macro and the Fuse... That's where your trolling started in this thread. Most of us love the p22x classic pistols and own some, but that's not relevant in this thread.

From a carry standpoint, the Macro may be preferred if your not going to install an optic. The Fuse sights are more for target shooting or daytime competition. The Macro has the Xray-3 Day/Night sights. The fuse has a fiber optic front sight (nice during day, nil at night) and a plain black rear sight which can’t be seen in dark/dim environment or POA is dark. The all black rear sight makes sight alignment extremely difficult.

The Fuse fits hand comfortably, shoots great, and is very accurate. Big drawback is the sights. Not sure why Sig changed the sights - poor choice. (I painted zero alignment line on rear sight which made it much better.) [see photo below]

(I won Fuse in a raffle. Would not have bought, otherwise.)

Works in concept but not something I would want to have to remember to do under stress.

I’m going to inquire to Sig as to why they didn’t stick with the Xray3 sights, so the gun would have the same day and night versatility as the other 365’s. (Guessing they figured folks would install an optic, or it’s focus demographic is target shooters.)

Ill say this about the T1C holsters, as I've ordered a number of Axis Elite holsters for my P365, P365XL, X-Macro, and for a Glock. The Axis Elite holster for the pistol side is the same as what's on the APX holster, and for each of my P365 holsters the bottom is enclosed. For my Glock Axis Elite holsters, they're all open so a G19 to G34 will all fit with the muzzle sticking out a little bit.

Since T1C closes the bottom of their holsters on the P365 pistol molds, get one that fits the Fuse and then your X-Macro setup will then fit into it. Same thing as when I got a P365XL holster in addition to a P365 holster, and realized after the fact that my XL slide and standard P365 slide fits & locks equally into the XL length holster.
