Nah, that is an XL+5 grip module with MS cut. If it was Macro, there’d be a pic rail and no MS cut. 😂

I would think if it was the Macro grip then it would have the pic rail.

Or maybe they are making it like that so those with non Macro grip modules don't have to buy another weapon light. But I hope they make one with the pic rail.

I'd actually prefer the XMacro size grip without the Picatinny rail; it would make the pistol slimmer and consequently the holsters could be slimmer (use the same holster as the XL).

 

Thanks Rich, that's welcome news! I had no doubt Wilson would offer something for the Macro. There's a money making market and they have done a good job of taking advantage of it!

There is nothing on the site for the Macro.

I look forward to one when it comes. IN the standard Macro frame there is room for a gas pedal. I hope Wilson puts one in that keeps the holsters right - that would be nice.

I actually called and talked to them about it. I was informed they had a discussion about it, but not going forward with it at this time.

I was at Shoot Straight today checking out the X-Macro Tacops
Talked about Wilson and a X Macro Version..
I told him that someone talked to Wilson and they said it's not in the works now.
He said don't believe it..Wilson will be coming out with it..
They just won't admit to it.

So we'll see...

I really like the idea of the regular sig rail. The 1913 rail was a big miss requiring new holsters and kind of defeats the slimness and smoothness of the module and the whole interchangeable concept of the design.

 

I would immediately buy an X length macro module. My dream CCW gun has always been a Glock 26 slide on a Glock 19 frame. The xmacro grip with x slide would take that CCW dream gun to a whole new level.

Excellent news indeed. I hope they do release both a pic and SIG rail, as I have no intentions of buying a third P365 holster either. I fully understand SIG's decision to go with a pic rail for their module but have not yet invested in a macro grip due to the holster compatibility issue.

 

Since I love the WC 365 Short and XL grips, I am looking forward to the WC Macro grip. It will be interesting to see what they do about the interchangeable backstraps.

 

Agree with that. My main concern is that the WC Macro grip module locks into my existing Macro Drop/Offset open top range holster I have on my USPSA rig.

 

Previous Wilson grips have not effected holster fitment, I can't imagine why that would change with a Wilson macro grip.

I liked that Sig went to a 1913 rail in the Macro but it sucked in the sense that all my 365 XL holsters now don't work... Now that I'm getting Macro holsters, It'd be nice for Wilson or Sig for that matter to make a module that has the Macro rail/trigger guard format but to accept 12 round mags.

 

I’d be happy just to get a WC xmacro module loosely based off the 365x module. I don’t necessarily need backstraps, just a better shaped/ more ergonomic grip that fits xmacro holsters.

I just realized it's been more than three months now since Bill made his comment about releasing the WC Macro grip module in July. I gave up and bought a stock Sig Macro grip and added the Sig TACOPS magwell surround.

I have to think there's some reason, other than technical, that this hasn't come to market? No big deal, just seems kinda curious.

Was hoping it would be available by now. All of my P365 variants wear a WC XL grip module with the exception of the X Macro Comp. Said grip works great. I just need more traction without adding any sort of tape. I may opt for the Armory Craft laser textured X Macro grip.

 

I said before . If they are going to release one . It makes poor sense to do so now . If it's coming you'll probably see a few released just before Christmas . Then fully exposed at 2024 Shot. I know from my own experience twice now. That the gun industry revolves around Shot and the 2nd quarter after Shot . That's the platform for as long as there's been shot shows . You'll see Youtube reviews right after Shot 2024 . Followed by being available 2-3 months later . It's called marketing . It's also based on a big if .
