So cool! If your state isn't here, which gun would you suggest for it (and why)?

Well, for NH we’d have to have a shoot out between something Sig and something Ruger…. 🤔

I’d probably say the P226 as one of Sig’s most iconic pistols.

I may talk to my State Rep and see if he’ll sponsor a bill next year…

Very interesting ... I didn't really know WVa had an "official" gun. The Hall Flintlock makes perfect sense. There is still a company in Harper's Ferry making really cool but expensive revolvers today.

I would think the "unofficial" gun of WVa would be the lever action 30-30 Winchester or Marlin ... as this is a big whitetail hunting state with short shots being more of the norm and the 30-30 is really popular with hunters.

Thanks for the post ... ya learn something new every day.

Unfortunately they have ammo restrictions due to drought! 🤣

it'd have to be the Sig 226 or the 229 w/ the 320 and 365 about to take over... 9's everywhere and the .357 Sig all that not uncommon...
then Ruger wheel guns running a tight 2nd (GP100/.357 and/or Hawk series in hand canon calibers)...

Missouri would have to be a shotgun, except St. Louis and KC.

Tennessee does love Ronnie Barrett. He's a fine gentleman who's done great things for our state and the 2nd Amendment. (y)
Beretta also has a factory here.

For those who may not know, a few years ago California banned guns in .50 BMG. Shortly after LAPD sent a couple of their Barrett M82s back to the factory for repair/rebuilds. Ronnie refused to send them back as they are illegal there. He has since refused to sell any of his products to any law enforcement or state agency in California.
