Mounting a C-More RTS2?

If you are having your slide milled to accept a C-More RTS2, be aware that the sight needs room. When I had mine done, the milling was too tight with the ends of the sight being "pinched" resulting in the lens of one sight breaking. After sending one sight back to C-More thinking it was a defect in the sight, C-More replaced the sight free of charge and let me know the sight needs more room on the slide. They sent me a footprint drawing that laid out the proper specs -and I have had zero problems since.

I'm not sure if others have experienced any problems with slide mounting the C-More RTS2, but I wanted to share my experience. C-More makes a great sight and as I mentioned above, C-More is fantastic at backing their product (even when it isn't their fault).

If you are going to mount this red dot sight, you may want to send this diagram to your machinist - it could save a lot of time and agony.
