Sorry, BK...excludes the X5, among others.

If the sales person told you something different from Cabellas, I believe I'd work things from that end...maybe they will give you some store credit or partial refund. They WILL NOT want to unwind the weapon purchase.

I'll be calling them and Sig tomorrow to find out what the deal is. I mean, really... How are you (or I, in this case) gonna spend $3,000 on a pistol that comes with 2 magazines and get the shaft on two additional mags and a nifty carrying case? I guess I'm the idiot who's lining their pockets!

Fine print is the customer's responsibility. I'm in the middle of a commercial property transaction. I have fired two , so called, real estate agents" already. They, in turn, warned the current agent that I DO read everything & it must be clear to me before any more steps are taken. The current owner has tried to pull a few fast ones so far that the agents either miss or ignore. I catch them & make them make it right. I have my attorney with me on this & he loves the fact that I do the leg work. I can't wait to give the agent the bill for my time & my attorney fees when they want their commission. Lazy ********.

It really isn't fine print.
It is right up front on the rebate page. P series and 1911

With what guns cost, two mags just don't do it for me. If I want a new gun, great, but not because.


The Offer: Purchase any SIG SAUER CenterFire Classic Line (P220, P224, P226, P227, P228, P229, P239) or 1911 Pistol and receive a FREE Pistol Bag and Two Magazines. To participate in the rebate promotion, you must follow the instructions on the rebate form and mail that form to the address listed on it.

Qualification: The pistol must be purchased within the purchase period dates, May 1, 2015 - May 31, 2015. You must include the dealer receipt with rebate mail-in form.

Terms & Conditions: This offer may not be combined with any other SIG SAUER offer or promotion currently in effect

I can see the confusion considering the X series originated as a P226 and had the P226 roll mark. With that
said, it is called out in the fine print.

Fed Ex tracking says mine will be here tomorrow. Yay. I bought my 220 before I knew about the offer. Thanks to yunz for making me aware of it.

Technically they are 226 but known as X5 and X6.
Also with manufacturing moving to Exeter, there aren't a backlog of them this year.

Late To The Party...But...

Day Late...well actually two.

Bought my P220R SCPN on 4-29 and did not read about the "offer" until 5-2...Oooops...sent in form and letter explaining that the Sig website on 4-29, nor for that matter the dealer, never mentioned the May promo...

Sig to the companies credit is sending me two 8rd mags and the bag. Should be here next week. Good customer relations.:D

Free stuff

i bought my new sp2022 the end of April. I know the pro series is not included in the promotion. I did find it interesting that when I mentioned the promotion to my local gun store owner he knew nothing of the promotion. Not sure how communication flows from the gun manufacturers to the retail dealers.

Just got my notice that my mags have shipped. No word on the range bag though.
