i read a bit about weak firing pins with Gen1 p250's and i'm not sure which is mine.....(sry) any who i've been shooting fine for a few an all of the sudden i went out today....an no bang...3 days prior i was popping off a couple of rounds??What's the deal?? if i had needed it for a self protection moment i would have considered myself dead..... i own a mosquito an love it so i want to know what i have to do, in order for this to work the same? I' went to sig's site an signed up an registered for a warranty...I'm not the original owner so i was surprised it was cool with me doing so...i assume the guy i got it from had never done so......
So is there some way they might cover swapping out the pin for me? i can't seem to find designs on how to pop it out, but it seems like i can see with my eyes how it works..i can't find just a firing pin ANY WHERE just whole slide's an barrel kits... please help thanks a million for your time reading this rant...

I should add, the ammo i was using didn't change at all......Winchester is what was in the whole time an even from the same box and I even went back an looked at my shells that i had collected my last time out an noticed they also had really light striking mark from the firing pin??, odd huh but they fired an mine today didn't...very odd.... thanks again

First I would try cleaning the firing pin. There is a detailed breakdown of how to do over at p250sig.com in the diys section . Next I would try different ammo then Winchester white box, some have had problems with it. You can search for the difference of the Gen 1 and Gen2. not heard of many problems with the Gen2 and you can upgrade easy if yours is a Gen1.;)

Take a look at this post to help you determine which generation you have: Gen 1 v Gen 2
These guys have got you covered. I good cleaning of the firing pin channel sounds like it's in order.

One more thing, what products have you been using for cleaning/lubing?

big thanks everyone.... turns out i got a Gen2. bonus..! an i used a few drops of pro-7 lube after i cleaned it.....although i didn't take pin out an clean it first time around, when i did receive it the previous tried to give it a bath in lube i think....so there might be excess in the pin area easily....i will go check how to take it apart in a few, big thanks again....i do have some other rounds i will go try to see if just the winchester is giving me hell..
.Thanks GUYS!!

big thanks guys FYI that p250 site worked like a charm..walk through was 100% correct....just some taps an firing pin was out...an mine was swimming in lube...not sure if that was the whole reason or what but i cleaned it an left half *** dry slipped back in an swapped some ammo..gave it a 2 rounds of core-bon 185gr,(which was less then the Winchester) and i got first 2 rounds to fire in a row with no issue. So i packed it in an figured problem solved..next time i get a chance i will try that Winchester again..

Any suggestion for adjusting the front sights? on a side note... i got my rounds hitting about 4 inches low on a 25 yard spot... maybe also can ya tell me what to do with my dud rounds??! can i use the bullet extractor hammer from my reloading kit or just toss the dud an brass??? Does anyone here in this thread reload 45 acp themself'? thanks a million again looks like i got the SIG back on point... will post pic's in a few...
